Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge, depart for Tarangire National Park, a haven for wildlife and home to Tanzania’s largest elephant herds. The journey offers scenic views of rural landscapes before entering the park, famous for its towering baobab trees and sweeping savannahs. Spend the day on guided game drives along the Tarangire River, where animals gather to drink, especially during the dry season. Expect to see elephants in abundance, alongside giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, and predators such as lions and leopards. After checking out, begin your journey back to Arusha, passing through the beautiful landscapes, Maasai villages, and open plains that define northern Tanzania. Depending on your departure schedule, you may enjoy a short stop at a cultural market for souvenirs before continuing. On arrival in Arusha, you’ll be transferred either to your hotel for relaxation or directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward departure.
