Day 1

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and Transfer to MFNP

We hope that you arrive early enough to transfer to MFNP. If you arrive after 6.00 pm, you will be met and greeted by a Maraka Tours & Safaris Ltd guide. After you will be driven to the Hotel for an overnight, to wipe off the long journey jet lag. Relax as you prepare to get ready to set off for the next day's journey to Murchison Falls National Park,. if its still early, you can drive to MFNP. This is one of the few places in Uganda where the bizarre shoebill can be sighted. However, along the way you can branch off to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track Rhinos This is one of the places where Rhinos are found in the wild.

After tracking you will proceed via Masindi visit the top of the Murchison Falls. You will be amazed by the this most powerful waterfall in the world. You will be amazed to see R. Nile squeeze through the Narrow gorge with a thunderous roar accompanied by a a signature rainbow. After proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Game drive, Boat Cruise and Top of Falls

Game drive, Boat Cruise and Top of Falls

Have an early morning breakfast and then go for a game drive where you will spot various animal species like elephants, giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs among others. In the afternoon, you will go for a boat cruise on R. Nile which ends at the bottom of the park’s main tourist attraction the unique Murchison Falls. The River Nile with its streaming hippos and serried ranges of crocodile along the sandbanks, as well as large numbers of different species getting down to drink & bathe are a spectacle to watch. Dinner and overnight at Red Chili Rest Camp.

Day 3

Transfer to Kibale National Park

Transfer to Kibale National Park

You will have breakfast and then drive to Kibale Forest National Park. This is a full day drive with lunch en-route in Fort Portal Tourism City. After lunch proceed to Kibale NP arriving late afternoon. Relax at the patio of your cottage or do birding in the compound as you wait for dinner. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Chimpanzee Forest Lodge.

Have an early morning breakfast and then drive to Kanyanchu for briefing and start Chimpanzee trekking. Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. At the world famous Kibale National Park, renowned as ‘The Primate Capital of the World’ for its incredible primate population – 1,450 individual chimpanzees and 13 species of primates overall, but the best part is that it holds an impressive bird list of 335 species! In this forest, you will look for the Chimps and also do an early start for the Green-breasted Pitta. This Pitta is one of Africa’s most difficult birds to find! After trekking, you will have lunch and then visit Bigodi wetland where you will experience a lot of bird life and unspoiled nature to spice up your Budget Uganda safari! Later transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Wake up at 6.00 am for an early game drive. You will have breakfast after the drive. Enjoy the vast savanna grasslands for a classic African Safari experience because, this Park is the ideal habitat for classic big game. Its’ out standing wildlife attraction especially the big cats which are very hard to spot, make it the most visited NP. After the game drive back to the lodge for a rest and lunch.

After lunch, go for a 2-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel. At Mweya Peninsula the Queens focal point, you have to get excited because; its elevation portion commands gorgeous views of the Kazinga Channel. During the boat cruise, enjoy Kazinga Channel the Oasis for the many fascinating wildlife giving you an opportunity to cruise just metres away from hundreds of erroneous Hippos and Buffalos, while Elephants linger on the shoreline. After the Boat ride, visit land of craters on the look out for the solitary big cats such as Leopards.

After breakfast, head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, watching the scenery gradually change from open savanna to mountain slopes covered in dense green rain forest. The vast savanna mixt with woodland is the perfect setting for a classic African safari experience. Enjoy the photo opportunities, the fantastic view of Kichwamba escarpment on this rewarding drive for the best African Adventure Experience. The road is rough but worth the remote African experience for free massaging. You will witness alot of beautiful attractions such as buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, waterbucks, Uganda Kobs and many colourful birds. In Ishasha, you will be rewarded with the sightings of the most famous residents - the tree climbing lions lounging in the branches while keeping a close eye on the herds of Uganda kobs. Ishasha has various species of herbivores in these magnificent natural arenas. Proceed to BINP check in your lodge. Relax at the lodge as you wait for your dinner and overnight stay.

This is a big day because we anticipate seeing the big ones! The Mountain gorillas. After breakfast, you will drive to the gorilla tracking briefing point. Tracking is captivating and unforgettable experience which repays the effort needed to reach.
It is a beautiful experience to to have a close encounter of these gentle giants. It is indeed a “once in a lifetime” experience that will linger for a long time.
The park is characterized by tangled vegetation dropped over a deeply fissured landscape of steep slippery valleys and high-draughty ridges.
