Day 1

Lake Mburo National Park

Lake Mburo National Park

After an early breakfast your guide will pick you up from your lodge and transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park. You will arrive around midday, at which time you will check-in at your lodge and have lunch. You will then prepare for a boat cruise on the lake, where you will view many animals including zebras, kobs, antelopes and more. Later you will enjoy an evening game drive within the park.

Wake up early and eat breakfast as you prepare for your guided nature walk in the park. You will enjoy viewing many wildlife species and then start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Eat lunch in Mbarara town before arriving in the park in the late afternoon.

Day 3

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Eat an early breakfast and then proceed to the park headquarters for registration and a talk by one of the rangers. You will then begin your trek through the bush with your guides, pushing your way through the undergrowth and parting thick creepers as you track the gorillas. Once found, you will be given one full hour to spend with them as they play around the trees. It is an extraordinary feeling sitting in the dense rainforest and knowing you are with a few of the last remaining mountain gorillas.

After an early breakfast you will start your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector, which is famous for its tree climbing lions. You will enjoy viewing other animals species on your drive as well. Once you reach the park you will check in at your lodge and then relax for the evening.

Eat an early breakfast and then go on a game drive in the park, where you will get the chance to view many animals, including kobs, antelopes, lions, elephants, buffalos and more. Return to the lodge for lunch and then go on an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel.

Day 7

Kibale National Park

Kibale National Park

Eat an early breakfast and then make your way to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will then start your chimpanzee trek, which will take you into close range with these incredible creatures. This walk is very popular! In Kibale Forest there are countless butterflies, the elusive shoebill stork, the situnga antelope and many other interesting animals that you might see as you make your way towards the chimps. After the trek we will head back to the lodge for a late lunch as you prepare to visit Bigodi wetland camp for bird watching.
