Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by a company representative and transferred to your accommodation in Entebbe, the Boma Guest House. Depending on your arrival time, you might pay a visit to the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC), which was formed in 1994 from the old Entebbe Zoo. Overnight at the Boma Entebbe.

Day 2

Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Pick up from your place of convenience at 07h30Am and depart for Uganda’s most popular game park. You will have a stopover at the equator for a demonstration of the northern and southern hemisphere, thereafter have lunch en-route at a local restaurant before proceeding to your place of an overnight stay for relaxation. Later back to The Bush Lodge B-L-D.

Day 3

Lion Experiential Project and Boat cruise Kazinga Channel

After breakfast, head for the Lion Experiential Project, a research project that allows visitors to participate in monitoring the pride in the park, using locator devices and learn habituation calls, as well as monitoring weather, surroundings and behaviour. The Lion Project involves the clients and the researchers heading as early as 6:30 am with a safari vehicle equipped with radio-collar-receiving equipment to keep track of the lions. Head back to the lodge for relaxation.

After lunch at your Lodge, you will take on a 3-hour scenic boat cruise at 14:00hrs along the Kazinga Channel, a natural and pre-historic canal that joins Lakes Edward and George. Look out for excellent wildlife sightings including, multitudes of hippopotamus, Nile crocodiles, wallowing buffaloes on its reedy banks, elephants, multitudes of birds. Thereafter head back to the lodge for relaxation. Dinner and Overnight at the Bush Lodge. (B-L-D).

Day 4

After a relaxed breakfast, you will be departing for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home of the endangered mountain gorillas arriving in time for late lunch and relaxation.

Bwindi offers some of the finest montane forest bird watching in Africa, and is an unmissable destination for any birder visiting Uganda. There are an estimated 350 bird species with 23 endemics to the Albertine Rift and 14 recorded nowhere else in Uganda. Globally threatened species such as African Green Broadbill and Shelley’s Crimson-wing are also found here.

Day 5

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Arise early today and prepare for the highlight of your safari, an unforgettable encounter with the Gentle Giants! After breakfast, you will head for a briefing session.

After a pre-tracking briefing about the gorillas, your assigned gorilla family and appropriate safety precautions, drive to the trailhead to start your thrilling adventure. Expect to walk between 2 to 8 hours in steep and slippery conditions at times with rain overhead. These magnificent animals live in small troops, each within its own defined boundaries and each with several females and their young being led by a single dominant male, the magnificent 'Silverback'.

Upon sighting the gorillas, you spend the allowed one hour with them as they go about their daily life; feeding, moving around playing and grooming– it is a totally unique and unforgettable experience! Thereafter head back to the lodge for relaxation. Dinner and Overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge.

Day 6

Bwindi Park - Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, we depart the impenetrable forest of Bwindi and head to Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant before we enter the national park. In the evening, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a night game drive for 2-3 hours is an exciting experience out at night. Look out for White-tailed mongoose, elusive leopards, spotted hyenas among others. Dinner and overnight at Rwakobo Rock (B-L-D).

Day 7

Lake Mburo - Entebbe

Lake Mburo - Entebbe

Early start of the day as we will go for a bushwalk guided by a ranger. Lake Mburo National Park is renowned for its rich birdlife and beautiful lakes. Enjoy a nature walk searching for zebra, warthog, buffalo, impala and, if you’re lucky, see the largest of Africa’s Antelope the beautiful eland. Return the lodge for breakfast and head back to Entebbe for your own ward flight back home.
