Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport-you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel for relaxation after your journey. Entebbe-located on the shores of Lake Victoria, offers a peaceful atmosphere with cool fresh air and beautiful tropical surroundings, making it the perfect introduction to Uganda, the Pearl of Africa
Depending on your arrival time you may enjoy a short drive around Entebbe town or simply relax at your lodge while preparing for the adventures ahead. The area is known for its lush greenery, birdlife, and calm lakeside environment. You will receive a briefing about your upcoming safari awaiting you across Uganda and Rwanda
This first evening gives you time to rest, refresh, and recover from your flight before beginning your journey to Kibale Forest National Park the following day. Kibale is famously known as the primate capital of the world and home to chimpanzees, marking the beginning of your unforgettable East African adventure.

After breakfast, you will depart from Entebbe and begin your scenic journey towards Kibale Forest Park, known as the primate capital of the world. The drive takes you through Uganda’s countryside, passing lush green plantations, rolling hills, tea estates, and traditional villages that showcase rural life. Along the way, you will enjoy photography stops and scenic views of the Rift Valley landscapes
As you approach western Uganda, the environment becomes greener and more forested, signaling your arrival into one of Africa’s richest rainforest ecosystems. Kibale Forest is home to the highest concentration of primates in East Africa, including chimpanzees, red colobus monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and many other species, along with a rich variety of birds and butterflies
Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure to relax and prepare your chimpanzee trekking experience the following day.

After an early breakfast, you will proceed for your chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest National Park, the primate capital of the world. Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, you will enter the lush tropical rainforest in search of the chimpanzees. The trek offers an exciting opportunity to observe these intelligent primates in their natural habitat as they feed, groom, play, and move through the forest canopy. Along the way, you may also encounter other primates such as red colobus monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and grey-cheeked mangabeys, as well as a variety of bird species and forest wildlife
After the trekking experience, you will return to your lodge for lunch and a short rest. Later, you will begin your scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early breakfast, you will set out for a thrilling game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse wildlife destinations. Accompanied by an experienced ranger, you will explore the vast savannah plains, crater lakes, and woodland habitats in search of African wildlife. You may encounter elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, Uganda kob, waterbuck, warthogs, and other species roaming freely in their habitat. The park is also a paradise for bird lovers, with hundreds of species, making the drive rich in both wildlife and photography opportunities.
You will return then to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, and enjoy a scenic boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This water experience offers close encounters with large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles basking along the shores, elephants drinking at banks, and a variety of bird species. You will later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

The drive takes you through some of Uganda’s most beautiful landscapes, including rolling savannah plains, crater lakes, and the stunning Kigezi highlands often referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa.” Along the way, you will pass traditional villages, terraced hillsides, and lush green valleys that showcase the country’s natural and cultural beauty.
As you continue south-west, the scenery gradually transforms from open savannah to mist-covered mountains and dense rainforest, signaling your approach to Bwindi impenetrable. This UNESCO World Heritage Site protects nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas

After an early breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi. Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, you will enter the dense rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek can take a few hours depending on the movement of the gorillas and involves hiking through thick vegetation, steep slopes, and misty forest trails.
Once the gorillas are located, you will spend a magical hour observing them in their natural habitat. You will watch them feed, groom, play, and interact within their family groups.
You may also engage in a cultural encounter with the Batwa community, the original forest dwellers of Bwindi. Through storytelling, traditional dances, and demonstrations of their ancient survival skills, you will gain deep insight into their former life in the forest
