Meet your professional driver tour guide at your Hotel in Arusha at 08:30am, who will drive you with a picnic lunch to Lake Manyara National Park, which is about a 135 km drive, for a full day of game viewing.

Lake Manyara is home to giant fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany trees, and grassy flood plains. The contrasts of this area are simply breathtaking, with the open plains, huge escarpment, soda lake, dense woodlands, and distant volcanic peaks. Animals such as lions, elephants, hippos, impalas, giraffes, warthog, wildebeest, blue monkeys, buffaloes, dik-dik, etc. can be seen. This park is also home to the famous tree-climbing lions and leopards. Lake Manyara National Park provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife with over 400 species having been recorded within the park's boundaries. Highlights include pink-hued flamingos, herons, storks, and pelicans.

Dinner and overnight will be at Eileen's Trees Inn.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park - Game viewing

After breakfast, have a game drive en-route to Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch box, and drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation area.

The vast Serengeti Plains is home to a huge variety of animals and birds. Search among the trees and Kopjes for the elusive leopards and cheetah. It is also home to the Wildebeest Migration. Dinner and overnight will be at Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp.

Early in the morning at 05:45 am, take your breakfast box and proceed to go on a sunrise game drive until 09:00 am. Drive back to the camp to take your luggage and picnic lunch box.

Afterward, proceed for a full-day game drive en-route with a picnic lunch to Rhino Lodge at the Ngorongoro Crater rim. We will visit the small but very interesting Dr. Leakey Museum at Olduvai Gorge.

Dinner and overnight will be at Rhino Lodge (on the crater rim).

Day 4

We wakeup early in the morning at 06:00 am, have breakfast, and drive into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a 6-hour game drive.

The crater is 20km in diameter, 600m high, and is the largest intact crater in the world. An estimated 30,000 large mammals live in the crater, which features a salt lake at its center. This is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in the world! The Maasai people live together in harmony with the animals that also call this place home.

From the edge, you will look out over the impressive crater and all of its wonderful inhabitants. In the late afternoon, we will drive back to Arusha.
