Day 1

The Journey to Masai Mara starts with a drive through the spectacular Great Rift Valley with a stop-over at the escarpment view point. Continue past the extinct volcanoes of Longonot and Suswa, to Narok and then continue across the Loita Plains pasts occupied and abandoned manyattas (Masai village (plasted with cow dung). Arrive for lunch at the Ilkeliani Tented Camp. At 1500hrs – 1830hrs you enjoy your first evening game drive, you will be surprised by the high concentration of wild animals in this reserve. Here herds of elephants roam freely, wildebeest, buffalos, impalas, Thomson’s gazelles and Zebras graze in their numbers. Big cats are not hard to spot either including the elusive leopard, it is one of the few place you are guaranteed to spot the famous Big Five on a single morning or afternoon. Game viewing across this rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills is a Sight to behold. Masai Mara remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the world.

Day 2

With Picnic lunch you will brace yourselves for a full day which is spent game viewing across the rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Masai Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains game, black manned lion, leopard, cheetah & elephants, Lunch at the Mara River at the Hippo Pool, after lunch the search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. Masai Mara remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the world. Our mid-day meals will be picnic at the Hippo Pool. Dinner and overnight at your camp. Ilkeliani Tented Camp.

Day 3

Very Early Game Drive, A good time to view the Predators hunt, it’s also the best time to see the sun rise in the African Savannah, return to the Tented Lodge for breakfast and leave for Nairobi at 10.00 am. Lunch will be at Narok Seasons Hotel.
You will arrive in Nairobi by 4 pm and ransferred to your hotel or the Airport.
