Day 2

Transfer to Kibale National Park

Transfer to Kibale National Park

Early in the morning, you will depart from Entebbe and head to Kibale National Park. Kibale National Park contains one of the loveliest and most varied tracts of tropical forest in Uganda. On arrival, you will check in at your lodge. Afterward, you will proceed for a nature walk in the evening where you will search for the bush babies and other nocturnal animals.

In the early morning after breakfast, you will have a guided walk in the tropical rain forest in search of the wild chimpanzees, red-tailored monkeys, black and white Colobus monkeys, and many more. Immediately after lunch, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for yet another new adventure on this safari.

Day 4

Morning Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

After breakfast in the morning, you will have an early morning game drive where you will have a chance to see the lions, leopards, giant forest hogs, Cape buffalos, elephants, defassa waterbucks, Uganda kobs, topi, and bushbucks among others. You will return to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon go for a 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This is a 42km channel that joins Lake Edward and George. This trip passes through the highest concentration of hippos in Africa and offers a stunning platform for photography, bird-watching, and game viewing. The park has 550 resident species. You will return to your lodge for dinner and rest up for the next day's adventure.

Day 5

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will have breakfast early in the morning. Afterward, you will start your transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will pass via the Ishasha Sector where you will have a chance to see the tree-climbing lions and many other species. Later in the evening, you will arrive at the park and check in as you enjoy the misty forest from the beautiful lodge.

This is the highlight of the safari. You will have a briefing early enough. Afterward, you will proceed to the park to search for the mountain gorillas. You can expect to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead. But it will definitely be worthwhile as you observe them closely while they eat, play, and rest. A unique and unforgettable experience!

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, you will proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, a 2-and-a-half-hour drive from Bwindi. You will enjoy the stunning views of mother nature as you drive through the beautiful Highlands of Kigezi, also known as the Switzerland of Africa. You can expect en route game viewing with animals such as zebras, impalas, and elands and other savannah species and birds like African fin foot, papyrus, bush shrike, and so on. You will have an evening dinner at your beautiful lodge and rest.
