Pick up from your hotel in Nairobi or airport and proceed to the Masai Mara National reserve.

The drive to the Mara is via Kenya urban and rural settings that contrast dramatically as you progress towards the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
Most of the drive to Masai Mara National Reserve shall be at the floors of the great rift valley and through Maasai country. In the afternoon, explore the Masai Mara on your first game drive. After our afternoon game drive, we shall return to our camp for dinner and overnight.

Full Day in Masai Mara National reserve

Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza! A kenya family safari is not complete without a visit to the famous Masai Mara Game reserve which remains to have the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region.

The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities. We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.

Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodiles or the great migration (July – October)

Other options at the Masai mara: Balloon excursion, Masai village visit.

After our full day game drive, we shall return to our camp for dinner and overnight.

A short morning game viewing drive may be scheduled for the early morning. Later, depart the for the lake Nakuru national park. On the way to Lake Nakuru National Park there will be stops on scenic points. Afternoon bird and game viewing drives follow around the Lake Nakuru to see flamingos, white and black rhinos, and waterbucks among others. Also an opportunity to visit the rhino sanctuary. After our afternoon game drive, we shall return to our camp for dinner and overnight.

Bird watching and game viewing drives at Lake Nakuru then we head to the nearby Lake Naivasha on a relaxed drive. Early in the afternoon, we will have a boat ride where we can spot small game in idyllic settings- a cozy activity to spice up your kenya family safari.

Optional visit to Hells gate national park where you ride and trek as you watch small game. After our activities, we shall return to our camp for dinner and overnight.

A long and easy drive to the Amboseli from Lake Nauru awaits you today. There shall be stops to view the great rift valley along the Naivasha and a short game viewing drive as well with possible views of the famous, Mount Kilimanjaro peaks (weather permitting). Dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.

Early breakfast game viewing drive at the Amboseli national park. Weather permitting, you may have the chance to see the majestic beauty of Kilimanjaro and its gleaming snow capped peaks.

Today shall be spent exploring the Amboseli National park on unlimited game viewing drives. After our full day game drive, we shall return to our camp for dinner and overnight.

Short morning game viewing drive is scheduled at the Amboseli. The park is open and relatively small such that game viewing drives are concentrated and wildlife is easy to spot.

Mount Kilimanjaro mass provides wonderful back ground for photographic moments. Later, the safari tour proceeds to Tsavo West National Park to see its hilly and scraggy scenic terrain and wonderful game viewing back ground. After our afternoon game drive, we shall return to our lodge for dinner and overnight.

Game viewing drives at the Tsavo West with a stop at the Mzima springs. Later, proceed to Tsavo east national park with game spotting and scenery viewing en – route. Here, you will see vast herds of dust-red elephant, Black Rhino, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard, pods of hippo, Waterbucks, Lesser kudu, Gerenuk and Hirola.

Game viewing drives at the open savanna plains of the Tsavo. After our afternoon game drive, we shall return to our lodge for dinner and overnight.
