Transfer to Murchison Falls NP

Wake up and have breakfast. Depart for Murchison falls National Park located in the north Eastern part of Uganda. You will pass through the famous Luwero triangle and Budongo forest which is found on the western arm of the Great Rift Valley.

The journey takes you through places of great sceneries that are pleasing to tourist eyes! You will reach the park in the afternoon. Drive to the top of the falls where you see the beauty of the Nile as it forces through the narrow gorge to fall a distance of about 150 ft down producing a thunderous roar of white water! The spectacle is great! This is one of the most beautiful and amazing places in Africa. Take a leisurely drive on the southern part of the park as you transfer to the lodge.

Morning game drive and afternoon boat safari

Wake up before dawn and have breakfast! Go for a guided game drive in the northern circuit of the park. This drive will reward you with many wild animals such as, leopards, hyenas, lions, jackals, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda Kob and many more. You will then return for lunch. In the afternoon go for the interesting boat cruise along the Nile. The cruise is rewarding with sightings of animals that come to the river banks to cool off themselves. These include hippos, giraffes, buffaloes, crocodiles, plenty of birds and many others. The cruise takes you to the bottom of the falls and it provides an opportunity for you to view the Murchison Falls from a different angle. If you love hiking, get off the boat for a nature walk to the top of the falls.

Transfer back to Kampala
