Airport pick up

Upon arrival at the airport, a representative of Vivid Adventure safaris LTD will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Kampala for dinner and overnight stay. You will stay at Cassia Lodge, a mid range lodge with beautiful views of lake Victoria. The journey will be about 42km.

Transfer to Lake Mburo NP

You will be picked from your hotel in Kampala by our driver guide after breakfast, and drive towards Mbarara with an enroute stopover in Kayabwe for souvenir shopping at the equator and witnessing the water experiment at this spot. Have a delicious meal with in the park and thereafter take pleasure in the boat trip along Lake Mburo which will reward you with sights of species like the hippo and birds like African Fin foot, Pelicans, Black crake, Heron, cormorant, fish eagle; you may also sight the rare Shoebill Stork. Dinner and over night at Rwakobo Rock.

Gorilla Tracking

Wake up early and ready to Experience the once in a life time adventure of Gorilla Tracking. You will proceed to the park headquarters after your breakfast for a briefing about the tracking code of conduct and thereafter the rangers will lead you deep into this thick forest in search for the Gorillas. You will trail through the rugged terrain until you finally meet these harmonious creatures. Return to your Lodge and afterwards go for a community walk in the evening. Dinner and overnight.

Enjoy a boat ride on the lake that will reward you with bird viewing and sight seeing. You will familiarize with the ways of life of the people in this area in the evening community walk. Dinner and overnight.
