Arrival at the Entebbe Airport where you will be welcomed, meet and great by Frank your guide and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe. Depending on the time you arrive you have the possibility to visit the botanical gardens. The gardens host a variety of open country and woodland species, birds species as well and you can easily spend a pleasant couple of hours here.

Day 2

Transfer to Murchsion Falls National park

Transfer to Murchsion Falls National park

After breakfast we will depart for the most beautiful protected area in Uganda: Murchison Falls National Park.
Along the way we have an Optional activity: Rhino Tracking
At the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary you will go – together with an experienced ranger for a safari hike to the rhinos. You will see the rhinos in a very close range!
Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls National Parks once had both black and white rhinos; however widespread poaching during the Idi Amin era resulted in the disappearance of these majestic animals from the wild. Founded in 1998, Rhino Fund Uganda works to reintroduce black and white rhinos into Uganda and runs a breeding program, as well as work to educate communities on endangered rhinos.

Day 3

Game drives, Boat trip and walk to the top of the falls

Game drives, Boat trip and walk to the top of the falls

After an early morning breakfast, you will enjoy a half-day game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, with chances of seeing elephants, giraffes, lions, hartebeests and a variety of birds. After lunch we will go on a Nile cruise for game viewing at close quarters. Hike to the Top of the fall and later return to the lodge.

Day 4

Game drive - boat ride to the Delta point

After breakfast we go for another game drive in the park to search for animals we might have missed yesterday. In the afternoon we relax at the lodge.

Optional
Take a 4 -5 hour boat cruise to the delta were the Victoria Nile meets lake Albert to form the Albert Nile. Here you have a good chance to spot the famous pre – historic bird known as shoebill stork and other birds such as fish eagles, kingfishers.

Day 5

Transfer to Jinja

After breakfast, we bid farewell to the magnificent Murchison Falls National Park and head to Jinja. Lunch will be had en route. We estimate a drive of about 8 to 9 hours. But its possible to avoid Kampala since you shall brunch off at wobulenzi which road has even less traffic saving a lot of time.

Free day at lodge or visit Kyomya school of the deaf

Free day at lodge or visit Kyomya school of the deaf

Today is a free day for you at the lodge, its a nice place to relax, go for a swim and just enjoy the lodge. For others who would like to visit Kyomya school of the deaf.
This is a great way for you to interact with the kids a true Ugandan Experience. Kyomya School is about half an hour’s drive out of Jinja. Next to the school is the shelter for children with a disability.
Most of the children are deaf or have a mental disorder. They are well taken care of by two matrons and they attend school. When they have finished primary school their education ends and they need to leave the shelter as well.
Because some of the kids have the ability to learn, yet their parents don't have the means to provide the school fees, Frank Tours Uganda together with Sara Stout would like to help them by raising money for their school.

After breakfast, a drive through the eastern part of Uganda takes you to beautiful Sipi Falls, on a plateau 1800m above sea level.

The Sipi River flows over the foothills of Mount Elgon, forming a spectacular series of waterfalls (some nearly 100m high), surrounded by village walking trails and lush green coffee-producing hills. You will stay in a wonderful lodge. From your lodge you have beautiful views over one of the waterfalls. Overnight and dinner at Sipi River lodge.

Prepare yourself for a beautiful day in paradise. After breakfast, choose to go on a 3-hour or 4 hour hike for the real adventurers hike through the region. A local guide accompanies you on your hike to explain flora, fauna and culture.
Whichever option you choose, you can be certain that you pass many picturesque waterfalls, plantations and caves. Local villagers will be sure to greet you with Jambo and beaming smiles. Dinner and overnight at Sipi River Lodge.

Depending on your flight time, discuss with your driver guide what time you have to leave to make it in time to Entebbe. Along the way you may be able to visit some of Kampala’s craft markets to browse amongst the to browse amongst the pottery, carvings, batik, weaving, sculpture, musical instruments, leather and fabrics on offer. Prepare to use your haggling skills! All activities and purchases today are at your own cost. Sadly after your city tour and time in Entebbe, it is the time to say goodbye to your driver guide and Uganda.
