You will be picked up from Johannesburg and transferred to your accommodation that’s situated in Hazyview, only a short drive away from the iconic Kruger National Park (drive takes approximately 4-5 hours). There will be a stop along the way to buy some refreshments and to stretch your legs.
Arrive in the afternoon, settle in and relax until it’s time to go on your first open vehicle Kruger game drive around 4:00 pm, which extends into the night (duration is approximately 3 hours). Afterwards, return to your lodge/hotel and enjoy a tasty dinner at the lodge’s restaurant.

Enjoy breakfast at 7:00 am before departing on a full day Panorama Route tour.
Explore the Blyde River Canyon (one of the largest in the world) and enjoy stunning scenic viewpoints such Bourke’s Luck Potholes and Three Rondavels, the best view over the Canyon from above. Then enjoy a very unique and scenic Blyde River boat cruise from inside the Canyon with a chance to see many species of water birds, antelopes, crocodiles and hippos.

Receive a packed breakfast as this exciting day starts early with a 5:00 am departure on a full day Kruger National Park open vehicle safari. You will have the whole day to explore one of the largest wildlife conservation areas in Africa (Kruger National Park) and try to spot Africa’s dangerous Big Five.
Enjoy lunch at one of Kruger Park’s restaurants (at your own account). Continue your Kruger Park adventure in the afternoon.

This is an exciting full day tour which includes the Table Mountain Cableway, the SA Museum, the Castle, the City and the District 6 Museum and their entrance fees. If there is another museum that you wish to visit, if time permits in the day, you are welcome to visit it with the guide, just pay the entrance fees applicable directly on the day. This tour will run from 9:00 am to around 5:00 pm in the afternoon. No lunch is included, but a provision in the day will be made for a lunch stop. The tour route includes driving past the Parliament Complex, Company Gardens, Malay Quarters and Signal Hill. Return to your hotel in the afternoon, settle in and relax until you go for dinner.

Day 8

You'll depart from Cape Town at around 9:00 am and drive eastwards via the beautiful coastal route between Gordon’s Bay and Hermanus, a seaside holiday town. (Hermanus is the best place in the world to spot whales from land – July to December). After lunch you will drive on to Mossel Bay. Here you will visit arguably the oldest post office in Africa, the Post Office Tree and the site of the first landfall made by the Portuguese explorer Bartholomew Dias in 1488. Your overnight stay will be in Mossel Bay.

The town is situated on the edge of the Knysna Lagoon with its entrance to the sea guarded by two promontories known as the "Heads". The area also falls within a national park proclaimed to conserve the extraordinary natural beauty of the lake lands and adjacent indigenous forests. Knysna also offers shopping opportunities of unusual locally made art and craft, etc. Join a sundowner cruise on the Knysna lagoon to enjoy the beautiful surrounds of Knysna. Your overnight stay is in Knysna.

You'll explore Knysna and travel further via Plettenberg Bay to visit the Birds of Eden. This unique 2-hectare dome (the world’s largest) spans over a gorge of indigenous forest. It is currently home to over 3,500 birds from over 220 species, with the main focus being African birds. Visit Monkey Land, the world’s first free roaming multi-species primate sanctuary. You can expect to see a variety of primates, from the gibbons of Asia to the lemurs of Madagascar. Travel to The Bloukrans Bridge, 216m (709 feet) above the Bloukrans River. Visit the Tsitsikamma National Park stretching over 100km of wild and rocky coastline. It’s characterized by massive cliffs, narrow isolated beaches and shady indigenous forests along the river valleys. Here you'll do a relatively easy walk via a scenic path to the suspension bridge stretching over the mouth of the Storms River. The final part of your journey takes you past a few coastal holiday villages to Port Elizabeth where you will overnight.
