On arrival at Vic Falls you will be met and transfer to Batonka Lodge to settle in. Later this afternoon enjoy a leisurely sunset cruise on the tranquil waters above the Falls, where canapés and sundowners are served, whilst you enjoy the sights and sounds of the Zambezi River and marvel at the beauty of an African sunset this evening.

Day 2

Tour of Victoria Falls

After breakfast a guided tour of Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Walk through the magnificent rain forest where you are able to view the largest falling sheet of water on earth, Livingstone’s statue and a wide variety of birds and plants. This afternoon you may wish to undertake one of the many optional activities available such as Helicopter flights, game drives and more.

Day 3-5

Savute (Chobe National Park)

After breakfast this morning you will transfer across the border to Kasane airport for your scenic flight to the Savute region of Botswana. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be met and transferred to Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge for the next three nights, an exclusive lodge located within the game-rich Savute Game Reserve on the edge of the Chobe National Park. Accommodation is in a luxury tent that offers en-suite facilities and has breathtaking views of the African plains. This accommodation offers individual viewing decks and reclining beds, which can be used to enjoy the rustic African view.

Over the next three days you have the option of joining morning and afternoon game drives or you may opt for a full day's game drive which sill explore the further reaches of the Savute area with a stop for a scenic picnic lunch.

Day 6-8

Khwai Private Concession in the Okavango Delta

Khwai Private Concession in the Okavango Delta

Today you will transfer for your light aircraft flight to the Khwai Concession area of the Delta and Machaba Camp for the next three nights. All ten luxury tents are situated in the beautiful riverine treeline on the Khwai River. From these tented verandas one can watch the daily parade of animals coming down to drink at the river in front of camp.

Game drives are conducted in the mornings and afternoon and last three hours, conducted along the river systems and flood plains around the camp. Night drives offer a chance to see the smaller more nocturnal animals.

Walking safaris are leisurely and time is taken to observe the smaller things in the bush that one normally misses when driving.

Mekoro Safaris (dug out canoe) are conducted in the shallower waters of the Okavango, a great way to see the waterways while being tranquil and quiet. Explore the islands around camp and come back rested and rejuvenated.

This morning after a last game drive and breakfast you will take your light aircraft flight to Gomoti Plains Camp for the next three nights, situated on the edge of the Gomoti river system. The area is known for its large concentrations of wildlife which thrive on the Gomoti plains and waterways. This exclusive area has been a well-kept secret for many years and has been the local haunt of many of the older guides and Okavango dwellers who refer to it in nostalgic terms when they used to camp along this river system. This wild and pristine area has over the years produced some phenomenal wildlife encounters including the filming and studying of the African wild dog packs which inhabit this area. Accommodation is in ten luxury safari tents raised on wooden decks and decorated in a classic safari style incorporating the land and water of the Okavango delta. Enjoy three days of safari activities including game drives, walking safaris and mekoro (canoe) excursions.
