Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

You will be picked up at the airport or hotel in Nairobi for a 2-hour drive to Lake Nakuru National Park with picnic lunch boxes for an extended game drive until late evening. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approximately 400 other species of birds. In addition, many species of game can be found in the park including the Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon, warthog, hyrax and many other species.

Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast at the hotel, drive for 4 hours to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve. This reserve is contiguous with Serengeti and is known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home to the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino). The Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the greatest wildernesses in the world. Large mammals are varied and easy to see. Arrive in time for lunch and check in and relax for a while before going out for a visit to a Maasai village.

Spend the whole day from early in the morning to the evening in Masai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity to spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
