After breakfast you will check-out and take off on an exciting drive visiting a number of waterholes and making a stop at the Etosha Pan, “place of dry water” which is the essence of the park. This great white expanse is a place of shimmering mirages where you will see large herds of game. This setting makes Etosha a unique experience to see in Africa. You will stop at Halali Middle Camp to have lunch before continuing on your game drive, arriving at Namatoni Resort where you will check-in and enjoy some relaxing time at the swimming pool before a late afternoon game drive. The game viewing is usually an excellent opportunity for photography with close views of springbuck, zebra, impala, giraffe, gemsbok and plenty of birds. If you are lucky, a close encounter with elephant and lion may occur. In the evening you will have dinner and enjoy a glass of wine as you experience the fabulous African sunset from the tower of the old German fort before you turn in for the night.
