Experience the Victoria Falls from The Elephant Camp
Experience the Victoria Falls from The Elephant Camp
You will be met at the airport and driven to this beautiful camp, situated on a private concession in the Victoria Falls National Park, just 15 minutes by road from the majestic falls themselves. Elephant Camp is a mid-sized tented camp with 12 rooms spread across a hilltop overlooking the park. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and expansive views of the surrounding bush.
Most activities at Elephant Camp focus on Victoria Falls and come at an extra cost, with canoeing, boat cruises, horse riding and helicopter flights showcasing the cascade and its surrounds. The interactive experience with elephant and cheetah offer an unparalleled chance to have a personal encounter with these elegant creatures. There's no extra charge for activities such as game drives, nature walks, birding tours and bush meals on request in the camp's private concession in the Victoria Falls Park, an area home to elephant, buffalo, lion and more.

Day 4-7
Enjoy one of Africa's wildest, most diverse, remote and luxurious safari offerings
Enjoy one of Africa's wildest, most diverse, remote and luxurious safari offerings
Ruckomechi is, quite simply, one of Zimbabwe's best high-end safari options. Its location, perched on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, overlooking Zambia's Great Rift Mountains, makes it difficult to beat for scenery. The wildlife is abundant and diverse. The guides are well-trained. The camp is luxurious in every way, including the sense of space around you and your immersion in it. If you're looking for a reason to go to Zimababwe, besides seeing Victoria Falls, this is it. The camp is open from the end of April to November.
Being on a private concession means you can do some things not otherwise possible in Mana Pools National Park, like cruising the Zambezi on a little motorboat or pontoon - a great place for tiger fishing, so take a rod with if you're interested. If you're of the slightly more adventurous type, you can go canoeing down the river too, which will likely get the adrenaline pumping as you (and your guide) navigate your way around the aforementioned hippos.

Day 8-10
A heavenly cliff-top sanctuary on Lake Malawi
A heavenly cliff-top sanctuary on Lake Malawi
Mother Nature may have given Lake Malawi turquoise sparkling waters, rolling green hills and crescents of powder-white sand, but it was owners Jo & Robin Pope who gave Pumulani an infinity pool, 10 stunning eco-friendly villas and a host of water based activities to keep you busy. Find this chic retreat at the top of a winding track in the hills of the Nankumba Peninsula on the southern shore of Lake Malawi and visit for a spot of post-safari indulgence, interspersed with a little snorkelling or kayaking should it take your fancy.
Most activities at Pumulani are included in the price apart from scuba diving and motorised sports. If you pick only one activity, we recommend taking the speedboat to Cape Maclear and snorkelling among the Cichlid in possibly the clearest, bluest water we have ever seen. Also on offer are kayaking, waterskiing, sailing, and fishing trips and a variety of lovely nature and wildlife walks (or bike rides) around the surrounding areas and nearby villages.
