Day 1

Early Morning at 5-00 am you will be met by our safari guide who will transfer you to Akagera National Park in the eastern part of Rwanda. The drive is approximately 3 hours. On arrival you will take Breakfast and go for a Game Drive after which you will have pic nic lunch and see many different animals and Birds. In the afternoon you will go for a boat ride on Lake Ihema to see aquatic animals such as Hippos, Lions, Crocodiles as well as water birds like the papyrus Gonolek, shoebill stork and African fish eagle. In the late afternoon, we Drive Back to Kigali with more game viewing en-route. Arrive late in the Evening and Transfer at Your Hotel.

Day 2

Transfer To Nyungwe Forest, Visit Butare and Nyanza King Palace

After breakfast in Kigali you will drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park, passing through magnificent views of the beautiful hilly countryside which gives Rwanda its name as “a country of a thousand hills”. During your drive you will visit Nyanza King’s Palace where a guide to take you through the entire palace educating you about the ancient Rwandan Kingdom. The King’s house is one of the magnificent attractions you can never afford to miss. You will then continue on your travels to the National Archaeological Museum in Butare where you will tour the museum and have lunch. After lunch you will continue on to Nyungwe, arriving at Gisakura Guest House late in the evening where you will check-in, have dinner and turn in for the night.

Hiking And Canopy Walk in Nyungwe Forest National park

Wake up in the Morning take Breakfast, and at 8:00am set off into the forest. During your walk inside the forest you wiil encounter different type of primates, animals and bird species then arrive inside the forest and start your canopy walk where you will view a variety of animal species again and beautiful landscape. After this walk you will return to the Guest House for Lunch, check-out and then leave the park, following the Gisakula Tea Estates and Lake Kivu via Kibuye on your trip back to Kigali. Arrive in Kigali in the afternoon where you will be dropped-off at your Hotel. End of the Tour.
