Day 1

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at around 7:00 am and drive to Serengeti South Ndutu Area for 4 hours. Upon arrival, you will have a game drive en route for a half-day game drive in Ndutu to view the migration. In the evening, we’ll drive to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Ndutu area is situated in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, part of the Southern Serengeti eco-system. Lake Ndutu is alkaline, like most of the other Rift lakes, however, the water is still drinkable and used by a wide array of local wildlife. The majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found on the short-grass plains from December to April. The area is heavily populated with elephants, birds, and resident games.

Day 2

You’ll have an early morning game drive at Ndutu Area and in the afternoon, drive back to the camp for lunch. You’ll also enjoy an evening game drive then go back to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

A thorough explanation about this great world event that Tanzania is proud of will be provided. Enjoy as the sun goes down in the evening in Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park. It's also a World Heritage Site and recently proclaimed a 7th Worldwide Wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration.

Day 3

South Serengeti to Central Serengeti

Experience a hot air balloon (Optional ) safari early in the morning and then proceed back to the camp for breakfast. Afterwards, we'll depart for Seronera with game drive en route.

The park is well known for its healthy stock of other resident wildlife, particularly the "big five", named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters: Lion: the Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due in part to the abundance of prey species. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem. African Leopard: these reclusive predators are commonly seen around.

Day 4

After breakfast, we'll continue the game drive in Seronera area and in the afternoon, we'll proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

A million wildebeest… each one driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfilling its instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life: a frenzied three-week bout of territorial conquests and mating; survival of the fittest as 40km (25 mile) long columns plunge through crocodile-infested waters on the annual exodus north; replenishing the species in a brief population explosion that produces more than 8,000 calves daily before the 1,000 km (600 miles) pilgrimage begins again.

Day 5

Early in the morning you will head down the forested slopes into the crater on a steep and narrow path. The crater floor is covered in open grassland with the occasional acacia tree and two small wooded areas. Teaming with wildlife, you will be able to see many animals in a short period of time and might even be able to tick the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard – off your list. Other animals present in the crater area include wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, warthogs, hippos and more than 500 species of birds. You will spend the entire morning exploring the park and after a picnic lunch in the crater, you will return to Arusha where you will arrive by early evening.
