Welcome to Tanzania! You will be picked up by our representative from the airport. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be briefed together with other members of the group. You will start with the first part of your Safari by traveling to Lake Manyara.

Lake Manyara National Park is a pretty little wildlife area, a lovely lake at the foot of the impressive Rift Valley Escarpment, rich in wildlife year-round. It is easy to access, being on the main route up to Ngorongoro and Serengeti.

Note: Timing is subject to your arrival time in Arusha. Or to stick to proper timing, you can arrive a day earlier and we can organize an overnight in Arusha at an extra cost.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti

Lake Manyara to Serengeti

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti national park en-route game viewing. Arrive at the lodge for lunch. After lunch, game drives to the park.

The Serengeti National Park, meaning “endless plains” in the Maasai language, is undoubtedly one of the world’s most celebrated wilderness areas and is an ongoing source of inspiration to writers, filmmakers, and photographers. It is Tanzania’s oldest game reserve, renowned as the site of the annual Great Migration when an estimated three million antelope – mostly wildebeest — migrate to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve.

A thrilling day of game viewing will take you to prime areas for seeing the fullest possible variety of animals. Today, you will see the beauty of the Serengeti plains and would enjoy the game viewing of big five, hippos, hyena and rhinos etc.

The Serengeti is a very substantial national park, the undisputed highlight of the wonderful Northern Tanzania safari area and surely the greatest wildlife reserve in East Africa.

Most people think of the Serengeti as being a vast endless grassy plain, but in reality it comprise a wide range of different scenery and ecosystems. The area is best known for it massive wildebeest migration, which is a rolling year round spectacle. In addition this is the most productive area in Africa for lions and cheetahs in particular.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater with en-route game drives of Serengeti National Park.
You will arrive at the lodge for lunch. Afternoon at leisure.

Surely the most impressive geological feature in Africa, the Ngorongoro Crater is a truly remarkable sunken caldera which is home to a wide range of ecosystems and virtually the whole range of safari wildlife. It is an integral part of an overland safari through this wonderful region.

After breakfast, descend in to 270 square kilomenters crater and spend a full day exploring the woodlands, lakes and wide-open plains of the Crater floor. Ngorongoro offers unsurpassed viewing of rare black rhinoceros, which are undisturbed by vehicles and allow viewing at close range. Some of its other 25,000 residents include lion, elephant, hyena, wildebeest,
buffalo, hippo, ostrich and an abundance of pink flamingos on Lake Magadi.
Return to your lodge late afternoon.
