We will be up at sunrise this morning to enjoy the spectacular colour change of the surrounding granite boulders as they get hit by the sun's first rays. We will enjoy breakfast and then travel to the World Heritage Site, Matobo National Park, about a thirty-minute drive. We will then enjoy game viewing and see numerous species of animals and birds. Matobo National Park and its surroundings are known to have one of the highest densities of leopard populations in Zimbabwe. Hopefully, we can catch a glimpse of this elusive big cat. Rhinos are usually seen with our record being 13 in a day. There is a stunningly beautiful lunch platform where we will stop to enjoy the view and have a picnic lunch. On the return journey to the lodge, we will visit the grave of a man well known for his exploits throughout South Africa and Zimbabwe, Cecil John Rhodes. We will be back at camp just before sunset and enjoy the awesome views with a traditional sun-downer before another fantastic meal.
