Transfer to Jinja
After breakfast, we drive to Jinja and you can change money in Kampala along the way. If you like adventure, this is the place to be. Jinja is a fun place in Uganda and you can do all kinds of exciting things like quad biking, white-water canoeing, mountain biking, family rafting, horseback riding and so much more. You can also decide to relax instead, as Jinja is a good place to hang out.

Transfer to Sipi Falls
After breakfast, a drive through the eastern part of Uganda takes you to beautiful Sipi Falls on a plateau 1,800m above sea level.
The Sipi River flows over the foothills of Mount Elgon, forming a spectacular series of waterfalls (some nearly 100m high), and is surrounded by village walking trails and lush green coffee-producing hills. You will stay in a wonderful lodge from where you have beautiful views over one of the waterfalls.

Activities at Sipi Falls
Prepare yourself for a beautiful day in paradise. After breakfast, you can choose to go on a 3-hour drive or a hike through the region (for the real adventurers). A local guide accompanies you on your hike to explain flora, fauna, and culture.
Whichever option you choose, you can be certain that you will pass many picturesque waterfalls, plantations, and caves. The local villagers will be sure to greet you with "Jambo!" and beaming smiles.

Transfer to Moroto Town
Today we leave Jinja and drive to Moroto. This is one of the longer drives where we will have beautiful scenery of the country through the Pian Upe Game Reserve. You cannot compare this landscape to any other part of the country. You will arrive in Moroto in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will go for a short walk in the city and can have a sundowner at a local bar, enjoying the stories from your local guide. You will stay for 2 nights at Karamoja Safari Camp.

Visit the Villages Through Moroto
After breakfast, you will take a boda boda tour accompanied by a local guide. These are riders on motorbikes from Moroto town. Using this transport supports the community and is also a nice way to see the villages since you travel through areas that you can't access by car. The village tour will take about 3 hours. When you return, you can have lunch at a local restaurant and then go for a walk in the town and visit the market. Later, you return to Karamoja Safari Camp for an overnight stay.

Transfer to Kidepo
Today, after an early breakfast, you drive to Kidepo Valley National Park. You will arrive in the afternoon and go for an afternoon safari in the park. It's not only one of the best parks in Africa but is also a very famous park for its scenery and wildlife. Overnight will be at Kidepo Savannah Lodge where you will stay for 3 nights.

Safari in the Park
After an early breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive to search for lions, leopards, elephants, and buffaloes among the many other wildlife in the park. Kidepo is famous for its lions that like to climb rocks and trees as well. It also has very beautiful scenery that you cannot compare with any other park in Uganda. You will return for lunch and then later in the afternoon, you will go on another game drive. Overnight will be at Kidepo Savannah Lodge.

Nature Walk and Game Drive
After breakfast, you will go on a nature walk through the park for about 2 hours with an armed ranger. He will guide you and tell you about the park and also about the birds, wildlife, shrubs, and flora among many others. You will then return to the lodge to have lunch and relax and later go on an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight will be at Kidpeo Savannah Lodge.

Game Drive and Transfer to Gulu Town
Today you can choose to either sleep in or go on yet another game drive to search for more wildlife you might have missed. You will return for an early lunch and then later drive to Gulu town. It's a small nice town where you can go for a late-evening walk. Overnight will be at Churchill Courts for 1 night.

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park and Afternoon Game Drive
This morning after an early breakfast, you will drive to Murchison Falls National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch at Paraa Safari Lodge. Later, you will go for an afternoon safari. The park is not only the biggest in Uganda but it's also a very famous park and has a diversity of wildlife such as giraffes, elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and lots of different kinds of antelopes among many others. Dinner and overnight will be at Paraa Safari Lodge for 2 nights.

Game Drive, Boat Safari and Hike Waterfalls
Today, you will have an early breakfast and then go on an early morning safari in the park. You will return to the lodge for a break, have lunch and then go on a 2-hour boat ride along the River Nile that takes you to the bottom of the waterfalls. You can expect to see Nile crocodiles, elephants coming to drink water, birds like African fish eagles, pied kingfishers, goliath herons, and red-throated bee-eaters among many others. You will then do a 1-hour hike to the top of the falls where you will meet your guide and then return to Paraa Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Kibale Forest
After an early breakfast, you will take the first ferry at 7 am and set off for a long drive to Kibale Forest National Park. You will have lunch en-route to the park (we recommend you try out a local restaurant). The drive is very scenic with lots of green tea plantations. You will arrive at Kibale Forest Camp late in the afternoon and stay for 1 night.

Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, you will go on the chimpanzee trekking for about 3 to 4 hours. This is the best time to do the trekking since they are normally active in the morning. You will then return to have lunch and continue your drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for 3 hours. You will proceed to The Bush Lodge for dinner and overnight for 2 nights.

Game Drive and Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel
After an early breakfast, you will go into the park to do lion trekking. This is a project carried out by the park authority in order to compensate the people that lose their livestock, especially cattle to the lions. It takes about 3 hours. You will also see other wildlife such as elephants, buffalos, lots of Uganda kobs, and many other animals. You will drive to the Tembo Canteen for lunch and later do a boat safari for 2 hours along the Kazinga Channel. Return to The Bush Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha to Search for Tree-Climbing Lions
After breakfast, you will continue your drive to Ishasha in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. It is famous for its tree-climbing lions. On the 2-hour game drive, you can expect to see elephant, buffalo, topi, Uganda kob, and a lot more. Later, drive through the beautiful scenery to Bwindi Forest, also known as the "Switzerland of Africa". The views are breathtaking as you get the feel and excitement to trek the mountain gorillas. Dinner and overnight will be at Ride 4 A Woman for 2 nights.

Gorilla trekking
Have an early breakfast and then head out for Africa’s most coveted travel adventure - mountain gorilla trekking in the thick jungles of the impenetrable Bwindi rainforest. You will carry a packed lunch and at least 2 liters of water per person. After the trekking, return to the lodge for a brief relaxation period before going out again for the Batwa tradition (1 to 2 hours). Visit the famous pygmies that previously inhabited Bwindi Forest.

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After an early breakfast, you will drive to Lake Mburo National Park. You will have lunch en-route and arrive at the Rwakobo Lodge in the afternoon. You can go for an afternoon nature walk accompanied by an experienced armed ranger. This opportunity should not be missed. From footprints and animal droppings, the ranger will tell you which animal has left it and how long ago. It is exciting to approach the wildlife at such close range. Return to the lodge for dinner and your 1-night stay.

Game Drive and Transfer to Nkima Forest Lodge
Track to Kazuma lookout point with a stunning view over 6 of the 12 lakes surrounding Lake Mburo National Park. On your way, you will see most of the animal species that live in the park (antelopes, buffaloes, zebras, topis, reedbucks, bush pigs, small genet cats, endangered Rothschild’s giraffes, vervet monkeys, crocodiles, hippos, baboons, and even the shy eland or the rare klipspringer antelopes, which only live on rocky outcrops). Drive to Nkima Forest Lodge with a stop at the equator for lunch and shopping on the way. Overnight at Nkima Forest Lodge.

Canoe Ride in Mabamba Swamp and Transfer to Entebbe Airport for Departure
This morning, after an early breakfast, you will go on a canoe to search for the shoebill stork in Mabamba Swamp. You can also expect to see kingfishers, bee-eaters, herons, grey-crowned cranes, and African jacanas among other birds. It is a beautiful swamp with many flowering water lilies. Arrive in Entebbe town in time for lunch. You will have a day room at Via Via Entebbe and have dinner before continuing to the airport to be in time for your departure.
