Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park with an Intermediate Stopover at the Equator
Upon arrival and after being briefed by our Safari guide, you embark on travelling to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is located in the South Western part of Uganda and is close to mountain Rwenzori and rests in the floor of the Albertine Rift. The journey time is between 7 to 8 hours and therefore this day will mainly involve travelling.
You will have a stopover at the equator where at you can take pictures for your memories and supplementation of your photo gallery/collection. You will enjoy much about how these crafts are made by the residents of this area and then continue driving southwards and when you approach Mbarara, you may do a stopover at Igongo cultural center for further introduction and observation of the African Culture.
You will have lunch enroute while further observing and enjoying the natural and beautiful terrain, estates, plantations and escarpments of the western rift valley.

Game drive and afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel
This day focuses on enabling you explore the wilderness of Queen Elizabeth National Park. It is intended to enable you get a feel of what Queen Elizabeth National Park contains.
The game drive will take you through the park’s diverse ecosystem, which includes sprawling savanna, shady, humid forests, sparkling lakes and fertile wetlands. Being an ideal habitat for the big five, the ten primate species including chimpanzees and over 600 species of birds, we believe that you may get opportunity to spot Elephants, Buffalos, lions, Leopards, Warthogs, Hyenas, water bucks, Uganda Kob and many bird species including Ibis, Fish Eagles and vultures among others that live in this park.
On return from the game drive, you will have lunch and in the afternoon go for boat-cruise on the famous Kazinga channel. On the cruise, you may be able to view great numbers of wildlife including Elephants, crocodiles, Hippos, Buffaloes and large numbers of bird species.

Chimpanzee tracking
This day is reserved to avail you with opportunity to conduct Chimpanzee tracking. The activity starts with briefing where instructions on how to track chimpanzees are passed on.
Kalinzu Forest is home to over 220 chimpanzees, over 414 species of trees, primates like Blue monkeys, Vervet monkeys, Black and white colobus monkeys, and a variety of bird species as well different animals. A successful track of the chimpanzees will give you beautiful lasting memories about Uganda.
After tracking chimps, you will be transferred back to Queen Elizabeth National Park and later on retire for the day at your booked lodge.

Transfer to Entebbe for your departure flight
Breakfast will be taken in the morning and then prepare for the drive back to Entebbe airport through Kasese where you will have a better view of the mountain of the moon-Rwenzori. Also, the drive through the country side will give you an insight of the various settlement patterns and ways of life of the various communities that you will go through.
This will be the end of this wonderful and memorable tour.
