Arrival to Mara & Afternoon Game Drive

You will be picked up early in the morning at the airport on arrival or hotel at 7:30 am. Thereafter, drive via Narok town to Masai Mara National Reserve, the land of the Maasai tribe. The proud young Maasai warrior-nomads with their plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears, will spark your curiosity. The 700-square-mile game reserve is the Africa of your dreams, complete with wild animals grazing amid the superb rolling landscape of gentle hills and acacia woodlands. Arrive at the lodge/camp, check in and have lunch. You'll then depart for an afternoon game drive. Exit the park and arrive at the lodge/camp before dusk for dinner your overnight stay.

Full Day Game Drive & Mara River

Optional: Balloon safari early in the morning, followed by a champagne breakfast on the Mara Plains. Take to the skies for the ultimate Masai Mara wildlife adventure, soaring in a hot air balloon over herds of game to the inner reaches of the Mara. You'll ascend early in the morning, when winds are calmest. Your balloon can soar over the most inaccessible and undisturbed parts of the Mara, with only the intermittent whisper of the balloon's gas burners punctuating the silence of your majestic flight.

If you do not opt to go for the balloon safari, you will head towards the Mara River for a full day uninterrupted game drive. A picnic box will be given by the lodge for lunch on the Mara Plains. Return to the lodge/camp before dusk.

Arrive at Lake Nakuru & Have an Afternoon Game Drive

After breakfast before 6:30 am, we will start with a game drive en-route as we head to Nakuru. Arrive Nakuru, check in at the hotel and thereafter have lunch. You'll then depart for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru's southern white rhino is a must see in the park, as they are often located around the lake grazing grass. Return to the hotel before dusk for dinner and your overnight stay.

Nakuru - Nairobi

After breakfast, head back to Nairobi. The drive from Nakuru to Nairobi will take approximately 3 hours. Upon arrival to Nairobi, the driver will drop you to the hotel/airport. This marks the end of our journey.

Optional Activity: Stop by Lake Naivasha for an hour's hippo boat ride. Lake Naivasha has over 400 bird species and is inhabited by many hippos. During the boat ride, you will be able to move to close distances to the hippo and see their leisurely way of life. The captain of the boat will also serve as your tour guide. Cost is USD 20 per person.
