Arrival to the Mara & Afternoon Game Drive

At 7 am you will be picked up from your Nairobi Hotel/airport upon arrival and commence the drive to Mara via the Great Rift Valley escarpment where you will have a breathtaking view of the Rift Valley. We will arrive in time at our camp for lunch. We will check in, and in the afternoon (4:00 pm), depart for a game drive in the Mara Reserve. Return back to the camp for a sumptuous dinner ending with good time for overnight at the camp.

Masai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. Its regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal Wildebeest migration is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai Mara as they cross the Mara River.

Full Day Game Drive & Mara River

Head toward the Mara River after breakfast in hopes for seeing the Wildebeest Crossing(Jul-Oct). Spend the full day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty. Return to the camp before dusk for dinner & overnight.

Optional Morning Activity: Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Safari, followed by a champagne breakfast on the Mara Plains for approx. USD450.

Optional Evening Activity: In the evening, visit the local Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour at USD30. Learn about the Maasai community and interact with the local Maasai people. A overnight at the Maasai village can be organized upon request.

Full Day Game Drive & Mara River (Day 2)

Head to the Mara River again with hopes of seeing the wildebeest crossing(Jul-Oct). If you have seen crossing yesterday, you can choose to return to the river or go around the Mara in search of the big 5 you have not spotted more of other resident wildlife. Again, you will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty. Return to the camp before dusk for dinner & overnight.

Morning Game Drive & Return to Nairobi

Depart 6:30 am to enjoy the last early morning game drive in Mara Reserve, return to the hotel for breakfast at 8:30 am. Thereafter commence drive back to Nairobi, arrival time will be around 3:00 pm. The driver will drop you at your Nairobi Hotel or at the airport. This ends our trip with you, we hope you have had an experience of a lifetime.
