On your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and picked by an African Paradise Safaris guide and you will be transferred to your city hotel for rest and leisure. Depending on arrival time, you can have a city tour. Your accommodation is in Ibis Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked by the driver and head southwards to Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and relax. Later, have an afternoon game drive in the reserve.
Enjoy an exploratory drive around the 1,792sq km game park with its low hills and savannah type rolling grasslands, gallery forest on the Mara River and its tributaries. Get introduced to the herbivores; elephant, rhino, buffalo, and the variety of antelopes, the Masai giraffe and the Burchell zebra. The carnivores are the black mane lion, cheetah and leopard. Also to be seen are the largest birds, the Masai ostrich, the Secretary bird, the crested crane and saddle-bill stork. Crocodiles and hippos share the river. You'll return to your lodge by sunset. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Miti Mingi Eco Camp on a full board basis.

Day 3

You'll have an optional early morning balloon safari ride (US$450.00 per person ) across the Masai Mara plain.
Have breakfast at the lodge then enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. Masai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Game abounds here. The Mara is noted for its abundance of lions, particularly the superb black maned males. See the great migration where over 1.5 million wildebeest and other antelopes cross the mighty Mara River. Experience the battle between survival and hunger. You are also likely to see lots of elephants here often in large herds. If you're lucky, you'll see leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents. You're sure to see the African buffalo. Get the cameras ready, stock up on film/tapes and enjoy yourselves! In the evening, visit a Maasai village. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Miti Mingi Eco Camp ( on full board basis).

You'll be woken by marching elephants and the sounds of birds. Have breakfast at your lodge. Check out and drive through the cool Rift Valley environment towards Nakuru. Drive through the park and arrive at your camp in time for lunch. Afterwards, have an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park.
L. Nakuru is a small park with over 50% of its area covered by the Lake. Located in the middle of the Rift Valley, L. Nakuru has a wide variety of animals which includes the Rothschild giraffe, lions, white and black rhinos as well as leopards. All these can be spotted depending on your luck. The park is also considered by birdwatchers as an ornithological paradise! A myriad of both greater and lesser flamingoes have made this lake their home. You'll have a hot breakfast at the hotel. At 8.30 am, drive to Amboseli National Park where you will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive then return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. During your game drive, you will be searching for the big herds of African elephants, cheetahs, lions, gazelles and the elusive elands. If the weather permits, you will be able to have a magnificent view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. All meals and your overnight stay will be at Kimana Camp.

You'll have a full day exploration of the park. After breakfast, depart for the morning game drive. You'll then be transferred to your lodge for lunch at leisure. Embark an afternoon game drive. Later, you will return to the lodge for dinner. You will be able to see the peak of Mt Kilimanjaro, the Big Five and more than 400 birds species. You'll have your early morning breakfast at the lodge and later depart to Tanzania, enter Tanzania through Namanga. After you are done with immigration, you will exchange vehicles and proceed to Tarangire, with a stopover in Arusha for lunch. After lunch, proceed to Tarangire National Park, where you will arrive in the afternoon.
The park's dominant feature is the Tarangire River. Although it gets very dry, the park is relatively thick with vegetation like acacia shrubs and mixed woodlands. The most memorable of which are the huge baobab trees dotted around in big numbers. Herds of up to 300 elephants can be found here looking for underground streams in the dry riverbeds while migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland crowd the shrinking lagoons. Dry-country antelope such as fringe-eared oryx and the long-necked gerenuk are also regularly spotted. Abandoned termite –mounds often house mongoose colonies.

After breakfast, pack your gears, and have an en-route game drive heading to Serengeti with a picnic lunch. Arrive in Serengeti National Park in the evening. Later, enjoy an evening game drive in the park. Return to the lodge for leisure and dinner. Tanzania's Serengeti offers superb game-viewing even out of migration time, when vast herds of buffalo, eland, topi, waterbuck, impala, kongoni, and Grant’s gazelle can be seen grazing in the thousands. The Serengeti is famous not only for its migrating wildebeest and herbivores but also for its high concentration of big cats and other predators that these grazers attract. The Serengeti is also home to smaller cats, such as the caracal and serval, as well as jackal, fox, mongoose and genet. Visit Maasai villages in the afternoon (at an extra cost of US$25). Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a crater tour. This is a World Heritage Site, the incomparable Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest “caldera”. Dominated by cliffs standing some 600 meters high and presenting a sheer drop down to a wide-open space of some 246 square km, you may see everything from elephant to lion, and if you’re lucky, the near-extinct black rhino, all amongst large herds of zebra and wildebeest. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha and on arrival in Arusha, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
