Day 1

You’ll be picked up in the morning at either your hotel, the airport, or another designated location before being transferred to Tarangire National Park for our first game drive. Tarangire is well known for its abundance of elephants. Many animals flock here to drink from the Tarangire River, which never dries out. Your overnight will be at the Marera Valley Lodge, which features spectacular views of the river.

Day 2

Tarangire- Serengeti

After breakfast we will make our way to Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We’ll eat lunch upon arrival and then enjoy an afternoon game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Acacia Central Camp.

Day 3

After an early breakfast you will head out on a game drive in the park. After returning to the campsite for a hot lunch, our driver and chef will load everything on top of our safari jeep so we can continue game driving en route to the Ngorongoro Crater. You will arrive at the crater late in the evening. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Ngorongoro Rhino lodge.

Day 4

We will start the day at 700hrs in preparation for a 5–6 hour game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. Very few animals migrate in and out of the crater due to its 2000 ft. high walls. As a result, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and many bird species. Your driver-guide will be in contact with other safari drivers throughout the journey and will amaze you with his ability to locate hidden animals. After a picnic lunch and exploration around the crater, we will drive to the camp for dinner and our overnight stay.

Day 5

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast we will transfer to Lake Manyara National Park. Here you can observe elephants, hippopotami, buffalos, guenons, banded mongooses, and numerous types of gazelles and antelopes along the lakeshore. The park is also well-known for its tree climbing lions. Visitors can regularly observe lions taking a nap in the tree canopies or escaping from the heat on the ground. After watching the animals and exploring the park, you will travel back to Arusha.
