Day 1

We will pick you up from the airport or hotel and drive to Lake Mburo National Park arriving in the afternoon ready for your lunch, a peaceful and exclusive retreat in Lake Mburo National Park. In the afternoon, you will go for a horseback riding experience in the park for 2 hours to see the wildlife at a very very close range and this experience is so rewarding. In the park, look out for animals such as zebras, impalas, elands, buffalos, oribis, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, and many more before you retire to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Lake Mburo Nature Walk and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Lake Mburo is one of the parks in Uganda where one can do a walking safari. In the early morning, you'll go for a nature walk in the park with the guidance of a Uganda Wildlife Authority game ranger. You can be assured of spotting very close-range zebras, buffalos, impalas, warthogs, and waterbucks. Also available sometimes in large herds of over 100 are elands however they are quite shy. Recently introduced giraffes are also a must-see. Later, you'll drive heading to Mbarara with a stopover for your lunch break and drive to Bwindi. This is the lushest highland rainforest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops, and papyrus swamps.

Day 3

Gorilla Trekking Experience and Community Tour

Today is your big day. After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide, you will enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular! The area offers a dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long-savored. You will see these mighty animals face to face, as a family as well as in groups. This forest is the home of half of the world’s gorillas so the chances of seeing them are very high.
Later, you will take a community tour to the nearest community after the gorilla tracking. You will learn about their culture, and way of living and get to know why they settled in this place.

Day 4

Exit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park– Kampala/Entebbe

Exit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park– Kampala/Entebbe

After your morning breakfast, you'll drive back heading back to Kampala/Entebbe. You will make a stopover a the equator and have time to take photos and experience being in the worlds Northerner and Southern Hemisphere at the same time.
