Nairobi- Masai Mara Game Reserve
You will be picked from the airport or Nairobi hotel and depart for Masai Mara National Reserve via the Nairobi-Nakuru highway. Enjoy a drive via typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads. Along the way, we shall have a brief stopover at the spectacular Great Rift Valley, which is fault line some 3,500 miles (5,600km) long stretching from Ethiopia’s Red Sea through Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, and into Mozambique. We will arrive at the camp with enough time to settle in before lunch with a little time to relax before we head out for our first game drive between 1600hrs to 1830hrs. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Full day game drive at Masai Mara Game Reserve
Spend the day in Maasai Mara. Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. Roll down the windows or stand up through the customized pop up roof hatch and enjoy this unhindered 360 views, and the possibilities for what lies ahead. Masai Mara is Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. In the Mara River, throngs of hippos and crocodiles lurk. The park is also known for providing excellent predator sightings in their natural habitats thanks to its relatively large populations of lions, cheetahs, and leopards. You will also see lots of Elephants, Masai giraffe, common zebra, impala, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelles, Topi, Hartebeest, spotted hyena and more. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara National Reserve- Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed for a masai village visit. Arguably the most iconic tribal group in all of Africa, the Maasai, who populate vast areas of Southern areas of Kenya are the dominant ethnic group surrounding the Masai Mara. This visit to a Maasai village is a chance to interact with the Maasai and get a glimpse into their culture, unique way of life and see first hand some of their customs and practices. Later you will be transferred to a lodge outside Lake Nakuru National park for relaxation and overnight.

Lake Nakuru National Park- Nairobi
After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes for a day exploration of Lake Nakuru lodge. Nakuru National Park, the park most famous for the colonies of flamingos that live on the shores of the park’s Lake Nakuru. The park is famous for numerous birds as well as a wild game destination for animal lovers and wildlife explorers. Lake Nakuru park is a habitat to over 100 endangered Rhinos distributed between the black and white rhinos; the park is also home to the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe and other 50 or more animal species that include buffalos, waterbucks, lions, impalas and many more. In the late afternoon, you will be transferred to Nairobi with drop off at your hotel in Nairobi or at JKIA Airport for your departure flight back home bringing to an end what could be a lifetime experience under the African blues.
