Our driver will meet you at the airport. The drive into Windhoek takes around 40 minutes, so you can relax and enjoy the scenery on the way to your first destination.

Urban Camp is a centrally located comfortable camping ground situated in the heart of Windhoek. It is the perfect get away with all the convenience of being in town. Big shady trees, Wi-Fi internet, nice bathrooms and a sparkling pool. It is a mere 5 min walk to the legendary Joe’s Beerhouse or a good Portuguese restaurant.

Our local representative will meet you at the hotel this afternoon to go through your itinerary with you, hand over your comprehensive tour file, and answer any questions you may have about the adventure ahead.

Your rental vehicle, complete with a roof top tent including camping equipment and a basic kitchen organiser will be delivered upon your arrival.

Day 2

Sossusvlei

After a good night’s rest we recommend rising early for a 5 hour drive to Sossusvlei.

Sossus Oasis is a luxury campsite at the entrance gate to Sesriem and Sossusvlei - the area well known for the towering red sand dunes of the Namib Desert and the remarkable depths of the Sesriem Canyon.
Treasure the ambience of the Namib Desert - under the star studded skies, to the tune of the barking gecko and far cry of a jackal.

The Sossus Oasis Camp Site offers shaded individual sites, each with its own private toilet, basin, hot/cold shower, barbeque, kitchen wash-up facility and electricity.

You can enjoy the magnificent views from your paved veranda or relax in the sparkling pool situated in the centre of the campsite.

A fuel and service station, tyre workshop, stocked utility shop and Internet café is available at the adjacent Sossus Oasis Service Station.

Meals and adventure activities may be booked at the nearby Sossusvlei Lodge.

Sesriem gate opens at sunrise. Wake up early and enjoy a hearty breakfast.

Put your camera to work at Dune 45 and Dead Vlei – an enormous clay pan dotted with fossilized trees and flanked by sand dunes that stand out stark against the sky.

A visit to Sesriem Canyon is also recommended.

Day 4

After breakfast you will drive towards the lovely town of Swakopmund, approx. 5 hours.

Stop in Solitaire, an aptly named cross-roads settlement with a service station, hotel and a small shop famous for its apple strüdel and home-made bread.

You can admire the Kuiseb and Guab passes amazing landscape and breath-taking views as if brought directly from some fiction movie.

Your stay is at Alte Brucke. The resort has lawned campsites. Each campsite has its own private bathroom, a built-in braai, 220V power point and washbasin.

Today, you will say goodbye to the coast. You may want to stop at Cape Cross where you will arrive at the amazing spectacle of the 288,888 Cape Fur Seals.

Not only does Spitzkoppe showcase the most striking geological formations in Namibia, it also offers the biggest collection of diverse rock art sites in Namibia.

Safe, secluded and away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, you will be completely engulfed by tranquillity and serenity.

Camping at Spitzkoppe is world famous. A mountain oasis in the Namib Desert, with unique over sized boulders and secret caves, allows the visitor to camp in complete peace and tranquillity.

Your journey will continue to the camera-friendly Damaraland region of Namibia with massive granite inselbergs and dolerite dykes carved into fantasy shapes by the wind. Approx. 6 hours driving.

On the way, you may also want to visit The Living Museum of the Damara close to Twyfelfontein. The possibility to experience the traditional Damara culture in this form exists nowhere else in Namibia or in the world.

Hidden among large grey granite boulders and mopane trees, Hoada Campsite has the trimmings of a serene home in the wilderness.

Each site has ample space for roof tents and is equipped with a kitchen area and braai facilities, a flush toilet and an open-air shower with warm water. Take a dip in the pool and enjoy a drink on the wooden decks around it.

Today you will drive to Namibia’s premier wildlife viewing destination, Etosha National Park. Your stay is at Taleni Etosha Village Campsite.

Situated only 2km from the Andersson entrance gate to Etosha National Park, The Etosha Village Campsite is nestled in the spectacular green and gold Mopani forests surrounding Etosha National Park.

The Individual Camp Sites are each equipped with private ablution, power outlets, running water, lights and a barbeque facility.

Pack your belongings because an impressive 5000-square-kilometre Etosha salt pan awaits you. The pan makes up a large area of the eastern side of the park and can even be seen from space. This remote area teems with abundant wildlife such as lions, elephants, black rhinos and giraffes, as well as a variety of birdlife featuring flamingos, ostriches, eagles, hornbills, and owls.

The sites are all nestled in the trees of the Onguma Reserve and each camper is ensured privacy and space to enjoy the bush.
