From Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
Pick up from your hotel and depart to Murchison Falls National Park. This is approximately a five to six hours' drive. On arrival, you will check into your selected lodge, have refreshment and do a sunset evening game drive. A lot of birds, leopards, lions, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, giraffes, and humorous appearing warthogs can be viewed. When you are on the safari you can experience Uganda in the heart of Africa.

Murchison Falls National Park
Depart at 6:30 am after your breakfast for an early morning game drive on the northern side of the park. The Murchison Falls National Park wildlife includes leopards, giraffes, African elephants, hyenas, oribis, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, waterbucks, and lions. After the game drive you will have lunch at your selected lodge, and afterwards in the afternoon at 2 pm set of for an exciting panoramic view on a boat cruise to the bottom of the great, powerful Murchison Falls, and then hike to the top of the falls which will take 45 minutes. It gives you a great opportunity to view schools of hippos, Nile crocodiles, colobus and vervet monkeys and birds along the river such as carmine bee-eaters, pied kingfishers, the African daters (snake bird), African fish eagles, among others.

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to Kampala
After breakfast drive to Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Sanctuary for rhino tracking, home to Uganda's only wild rhinos. The sanctuary is conveniently located along the route to Murchison Falls National Park, about two and a half hours' drive from Kampala. You will be provided with an armed ranger to lead a two-hour trek into the sanctuary which harbours a healthy population of 13 rhinos. The rhinos share the sanctuary with several other animals including oribi, kob, leopard, crocodile, hippo, and bushbuck among others. Over 351 species of birds have also been recorded on the sanctuary. After the trek, you will have lunch at Kabalega Diner and then proceed to Kampala arriving in the late afternoon. You will be dropped off at your hotel or to Entebbe airport if earlier arranged.
