Your adventure starts here. The drive to Sossusvlei takes about 4 hours, so you can relax and enjoy the scenery on the way to your first destination.
A Little Sossus Lodge will ensure you have an unforgettable stay in the tranquil desert surroundings. The lodge is surrounded by the Nubib, Tsaris and Naukluft Mountains, with views of the dunes to the west. Sesriem Canyon is an interesting place to walk and to appreciate the canyon’s multiple layers of exposed rock. This afternoon, enjoy the walk where the changing shadows and soft light foregrounds the area’s breathtaking scenery. It sets up excellent photography opportunity offering you a chance for some quiet reflection.

Sossusvlei
Sesriem gate opens at sunrise. Enjoy an early breakfast and put your camera to work at Dune 45 and Dead Vlei—an enormous clay pan dotted with fossilized trees and flanked by sand dunes that stand out stark against the sky.
Make regular stops on the spectacular ±60 kilometer drive through the dune corridor down to the Vlei, including the mysterious Fairy Circles. At Dune 45, you will view the world's most photographed dune. Further along, a gradual 2.6 kilometer round-trip walk up to Dead Vlei is a must for the healthy visitors. Explore Sossusvlei before returning to the lodge in time for lunch.

Swakopmund
After breakfast, you will drive towards the lovely town of Swakopmund, approximately 4 hours. You may want to stop in Solitaire, an aptly named cross-roads settlement with a service station, hotel and a small shop famous for its apple strudel and home-made bread. Make another quick stop at the famous Tropic of Capricorn for a photo opportunity.
You can admire the Kuiseb and Guab passes, amazing landscape and breathtaking views as if brought directly from some fiction movie.
Located a few metres from the Atlantic Ocean beaches, Brigadoon Guesthouse features elegant rooms with views over the lush garden. A complimentary English breakfast is served every morning in the patio, overlooking the garden.
You might like to spend time relaxing in the town of Swakopmund or at many of its cafes or restaurants. Swakopmund is the culinary capital of Namibia. This popular coastal town offers a large diversity in terms of gastronomic delights.

Spitzkoppe
Today, you will say goodbye to the coast. You will drive along the Skeleton Coast and stop at Cape Cross where you will arrive at the amazing spectacle of the 288,888 Cape Fur Seals. Another great photo opportunity is The Zeila Shipwreck. An offshore fishing vessel that ran aground in 2008. Namibia’s infamous ‘Skeleton Coast’, has been responsible for the thousands of shipwrecks along the coast.
Your journey will continue inland to the camera-friendly Damaraland region of Namibia with massive granite inselbergs and dolerite dykes carved into fantasy shapes by the wind. It takes approximately 2 hours driving.
Spitzkoppe Tented Camp is a peaceful desert oasis site with stunning views of Spitzkoppe Mountain. Best be arriving here with a camera fully charged, as this is the kind of place that’s liable to send you on a pic-snapping frenzy. Enjoy a tour to the Golden Snake painting, small bushman’s paradise paintings and the Zebra Pool as well as the famous Rock Arch at Spitzkoppe.

Damaraland
Its a 2.5 hour drive to Madisa Camp. The camp lies within the habitat of the desert-dwelling elephants and is only 50km away from the famous rock engravings of Twyfelfontein.
Madisa Camp is a small, intimate and rustic safari-style camp along the Aba-Huab's riverbed in Damaraland. No instagram, no uploading, no downloading. Just stop. Look. Listen. There's nothing. Just an innate stillness. A liberating, dry emptiness. And there, in the hills, deep in Damaraland is a potjie pot on a fire. An incongruous lamppost and a camp, Madisa.

The highlight of this region is Twyfelfontein—Namibia’s first and only World Heritage Site—with its wealth of ancient Bushman rock art, the Petrified Forest & Organ Pipes.
Enjoy nature drives into the Ugab valley and riverbeds with opportunities to search for the elusive desert elephants, which are roaming around freely between the Ugab and Aba-Huab Rivers.
You may want to embark on a sundowner drive and meander around the surrounding areas with spectacular views of the dunes, open plains and rock formations, ending high up on a hill for the most spectacular African sunset.

Etosha National Park
Your journey continues east to Namibia’s premier wildlife viewing destination, Etosha National Park. Your stay is at Etosha Safari Camp. Etosha Safari Camp is situated 9km south of Andersson Gate, entrance to the Etosha National Park. It has a sparkling swimming pool, the Okambashu Restaurant and the Oshebeena Bar, styled like a typical little township bar. Enjoy your evening entertainment next to a fire, under the stars.
This afternoon, you may want to embark on a guided/self drive excursion, exploring the southern side of the park. A series of waterholes along the southern edge of the pan guarantee rewarding and often spectacular game viewing.

Etosha National Park
Pack your belongings because an impressive 5000sq km Etosha Salt Pan awaits you. This remote area teems with abundant wildlife such as lions, elephants, black rhinos and giraffes, as well as a variety of birdlife. Etosha National Park boasts numerous waterholes, including both natural springs and fountains and others fed by man-made bore holes. The park is well equipped with restaurants, shops, curios and swimming pools.
On the eastern doorstep of world-famous Etosha National Park, in the mopane woodland of the region, lies Mokuti Etosha Lodge, a flagship of Namibian safari hospitality. After breakfast your trip will continue 3 hours south to Otjiwa, one of the most diverse Namibian destination. Otjiwa enhances animal welfare of not only some endangered and several rare species as well as a tremendous birdlife collection.

You have come to the end of your incredible journey, the final stretch of your road-trip. It's a 2.5 hour drive to Windhoek. Drop your rental vehicle and you will be transferred to the Hosea Kutako International Airport in time for your flight.
