Day 1-3

Meno a Kwena

Meno a Kwena

Touch down in Maun airport where you will be welcomed by a Ker & Downey® Africa representative ready to accompany you to Meno a Kwena located in Makgadigadi Pans, a 2 hours scenic drive away, your base for the next 3 nights.

The safari never stops at Meno a Kwena, a hidden gem of a camp perched on a rocky clifftop above the Boteti River in Botswana. With a glittering roster of activities, including day trips to the Makgadikgadi Pans, guided walks with the San bushmen, and wildlife-watching boat trips, there’s plenty to get your teeth into. But sometimes, the best game viewing is where you least expect it, and at Meno, it’s right in front you.

Once you have landed at the airstrip, you will be met by your guide and tracker before being transferred to the lodge. Your next two nights will be spent in the Khwai Private Game Reserve at Hyena Pan.

We’re all about the wildlife at Hyena Pan. First up is its phenomenal location in Khwai Private Reserve. Positioned between Moremi Game Reserve, Chobe National Park and the Khwai River, our exclusive concession is a meeting point for more animals than you can shake a stick at. Think nomadic herds of elephant and buffalo, lion, leopard and wild dog fiercely defending their territories, as well as kudu, red lechwe and herds of dainty antelope dotted across the plains.
