Kalahari Desert
After breakfast, you will start your journey driving south (about 3 hours) toward the edge of the Kalahari, renowned for its rust-colored dunes and desert-adapted wildlife.
If there was ever an enchanted garden, this is it. Entering the Kalahari Farmhouse is like stepping into a magical enclave or an oasis in the desert – far away from the world. It urges you to take off your shoes, lie on the soft grass and relax. The cottage chalets built in the Cape Dutch style with colorful patchwork quilts, fireplaces, and oodles of charm look onto the garden lined with towering palms. The restaurant and bar are located in the manor. Birds flutter through the trees, water runs in the streamlets and the feeling of peace pervades the intimate Kalahari resort.
Feel like stretching your legs after all the driving? Enquire at reception about the various hiking trails. You won’t regret getting in touch with the Kalahari landscape.

Etosha East
Namutoni Camp centers on an old German Fort overlooking the King Nehale waterhole. An elevated, decked walkway provides excellent opportunities for enjoying the surrounding scenery, wildlife, and spectacular sunsets. The fort has been developed into a hub of activity, offering two restaurants, a relaxation lounge, a bar, a crafts boutique, a curio shop, jewelers, and a bookstore. Accommodation is provided in comfortable double rooms or bush chalets.
Etosha is enormous and distances are extremely deceptive, especially if the 60km/h speed limit is taken into consideration. Explore The Old Fort at Namutoni, a remarkable sight in the desert surroundings. It was virtually obliterated by Owambo warriors at the turn of the 20th century, but rebuilt within a couple of years. Fischer’s Pan is a hotspot for migrant waterbirds. Pretty makalani palms sway around waterholes on this side of the park.
