Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your safari will set off towards the Tarangire National Park. This park with its savannah, seasonal swamps and the life-giving Tarangire River is home to huge elephant herds—literally hundreds of animals. Animals gather at the river and besides elephants, you should see mongoose, giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, dik-diks, waterbucks, warthogs and reedbucks all year round. After an extensive game drive, you will leave the park late in the afternoon and head to Eileen’s Trees Inn to overnight on full board basis.

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will continue to the lush highlands where crops such as wheat, corn and coffee are grown. Travelling through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you might stop for a breathtaking view over the Ngorongoro Crater before you continue to the Serengeti National Park. Serengeti means “endless plains” in the language of the Maasai and you will see the grassland savannah stretching to the horizon. Bizarre rock formations dot the grassy landscape where predators roam. Blue wildebeests, Thomson’s gazelles, zebras and buffaloes are on their menu. Through the high and open roof of the safari vehicle, you will be able to enjoy the diversified habitats and landscapes of the park. You will arrive in the Seronera Valley for an evening meal and overnight stay at Serengeti Mawe Tented Camp on full board basis.

Your wake up call is at 6:00 am to have just a cup of hot coffee then proceed for the early morning game drive. This morning game drive is very important as you will be able to witness the early morning kills from the Big Five, only if you will be lucky enough. After the morning game drive, get back to the lodge at 9:30 am to have your main breakfast. Thereafter, you will check out the lodge and proceed with game drives en-route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority. Have your overnight stay at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge on full board basis.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Then Drive Back to Arusha

Have an early morning breakfast and then descend the Ngorongoro Crater at 7:00 am for crater tour. This is World Heritage Site; the incomparable Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest "caldera". Dominated by cliffs standing some 600m high and presenting a sheer drop down to a wide open space of some 246sq km. You may see everything from elephant to lion, and if you’re lucky, the near-extinct black rhino, all amongst large herds of zebras and wildebeests. In the afternoon, exit the crater and then drive back to Arusha for your overnight at Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa on bed and breakfast basis.
