Pick up from Entebbe International Airport in Uganda by road transfer and takes 6-7hours. Check into Bunyonyi Safaris Resort, and depending on your arrival time, you may spend the rest of the day at leisure enjoying the lakeside property or using the resort facilities such as swimming pool, steam & sauna, gym, cafe and hilltop gardens.

Day 2

Gorilla Trek in Bwindi Forest

Gorilla Trek in Bwindi Forest

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park gate for your Gorilla Trek Briefing at 7am. Spend the day Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Uganda's oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests, which dates back over 25,000 years and is home to roughly half of the world’s Mountain Gorilla population.

Tracking time varies according to the movements of the gorilla groups, it could take from 30 mins to 5hrs so we highly recommend that you are in a good physical condition and well prepared for a whole days excursion. Once you track down the Gorillas, you will get to observe them for up to 1 hour, before trekking back. Packed lunch will be provided for you, and your guide will stop at a suitable place for a lunch break picnic within the forest.

Once you return to the briefing point, our vehicle will be waiting to transfer you back to Lake Bunyonyi, for dinner and over night stay. If weather permits, enjoy a warm evening campfire to end the day.

Lake Bunyonyi Boat Tour and Afternoon Airport Transfer

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, and mid morning boat tour of Lake Bunyonyi, one of the deepest and most scenic crater lakes in the region. Explore the various islands on the lake and learn about their history and cultural significance, as well as hike up to iconic view points along the lake peninsula.

Check out by midday and depending on your departure flight time, you will be transferred back to Entebbe International Airport in Uganda for your flight back home.
