After breakfast in Dar es Salaam drive almost 220 km (approximately 5 hours) to Selous Game Reserve, arrive in time for late lunch and brief rest at Hippo Camp, nestled within the woodland along the banks of the Great Rufiji River. If arrives early you would have game drive or boat safari, then enjoy sunset cruise on your comfortable rooms, watching for hippos, crocodiles and birds, and enjoying the spectacular sunset over this enormous river. Dinner and your overnight at Jambiza Tented Camp!

Game Drive in Selous Game Reserve:
After breakfast have joyful full day game drive in 4WD Open sided safari vehicle with a wildlife professional driver/guide. Animals sightings including all the great favorites - lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra; and all the other major species including the rare African hunting wild dog. You will also see a large colourful variety of birds, wonderful scenery with topography wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest and higher ground with vast views far off mountains. In the afternoon have picnic lunch and some time to rest in a selected a location with shade and water nearby where animals coming to drink; dinner and overnight at Jimbiza Camp!

Transfers from Selous to Ruaha via Iringa Town:
After early breakfast in the hotel, with picnic lunch drive to Iringa town through Mikumi town of Morogoro region. You will be passing through country side and have nice scenery and beautiful valleys and mountains of Eastern Arc ranges, with stopover and having your picnic lunch in mid way. Due to long distance driving from Selous Game Reserve you might be arriving in Iringa in late evening, so just heads in the hotel directly for dinner and overnight.

Game drive in Ruaha National Park:
Have a full day experience game drive with picnic lunch between two rivers of Njombe to the north and Ruaha to the east. The Great Ruaha River, which flows along its entire eastern border, creates spectacular gorges and scenery and features with a large of number of hippos. The park supports several antelope species that are uncommon in the most of Tanzania parks, such as greater kudu, sable and roan and crocodiles, dinner and overnight in Ruaha Hilltop Camp.

With picnic lunch, have another full day game drive discovering and exploring Ruaha National Park. You might choose the activities preferring either game drive or walking safari.
