Pick from Entebbe International Airport, drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Stop over will be at the Equator, where you will do the experiment stepping one foot in the southern hemisphere and another foot in the northern hemisphere.
Water Experiment at the Equator
Uganda is one of the few countries that are traversed by the Equator, the imaginary line that divides the Earth into two equal halves. This point is about 72 Kilometres south of Kampala along the Kampala – Masaka Highway. At this point there are two circles made of concrete marking the equator line which is worth stopping for. You will enjoy the photo session, a cold drink at one of the tourist shops.
As you drive to Lake Mburo National Park, you will amazed and impressed by the remarkable scenery that unfolds in sight. The Lowlands and Grassland savannas gradually give way to the cascading hills that seem never to end. You also enjoy the indigenous long horned Ankole Cattle in their land of milk and honey.

Day 2

Morning Game Drive in Lake Mburo National Park

After an early breakfast, we proceed for a game drive for an early catch of the African Wildlife experience in this sculptured landscape, rolling dry hills, rock out crops, and open wooded savanna for the best wildlife sightings. The commonly seen animals are, Zebras, Impala, Buffalos, Topis, Elands, Warthogs, Velvet Monkeys, Bushbucks, Giraffes and a variety of both wetland and savanna birds species. There are over 332 bird species and 69 mammal species in this National park, return to the lodge. After lunch, we drive to Rwonyo the tourism hub of this park, in search of wildlife in the rich banks/shores of the lake. The Boat Cruise is a two hours voyage and you cruise you are advised to keep on the lookout for; Crocodiles, Buffalos, Hippos and the colorful birds such as the magnificent Fish Eagles, hammerkops and their enormous nests plus the most sought birds the shoebill and the African Fin foot. While, enjoying the fantastic sunset overlooking the beautiful sceneries.

After breakfast, we drive to the gate, meet the armed Ranger Guide then proceed for the scenic fantastic and rewarding walk. This walk will take us to the natural salt lake where wildlife and the panoramic view of the rolling hills, rocky outcrops, and Acacia woodland savanna will be better viewed. After wards, proceed to Igongo Country Hotel & Cultural Centre. Here you will discover the beauty and secrets of the cultural heritage. It is one of the leading and captivating museums of natural history in western Uganda.
Visit eriijukiro, Nkwanzi Crafts, Mpororo Court for the diversity of cultural history of the people and culture in western Uganda. After the visit drive to Lake Bunyonyi for an overnight. The drive, through this scenic and beautiful environment, displays and explain the story of western Uganda that gets you into the spotlight that you are in the Gorilla region. Driving through the rolling hills, confirms the name it earned earlier the ‘Switzerland of Africa'

Day 4

Boat Cruise on Lake Bunyonyi

Boat Cruise on Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, enjoy the sunrise Boat Cruise on Lake Bunyonyi before driving to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ntungamo. On this journey you will see and enjoy the climb and at the end there is a wonderful new world; that is characterized by different sceneries, vegetation, climate, which are very different from those seen anywhere else in Africa. Had it not been said by Sir Winston Churchill, where else would you have heard it from; so this is truly a journey of discovery. Drive through BushenyI and Rubirizi Tea Plantations before reaching Queen Elizabeth National Park to check in at the lodge for overnight.

After breakfast, drive to Kasenyi plains, for the best morning catch of game in this understandably Ugandas’ most popular tourist destination. Set against the backdrop of serrated Rwenzori Mts, you enjoy the beautiful sceneries, virtually guaranteed herds of Buffalo, Elephants, and Antelopes. Afterwards, drive back to the lodge for lunch before embarking on Kazinga Channel for the afternoon Boat Cruise.

This afternoon boat cruise gives you an opportunity to cruse just a few meters from hundreds of enormous Hippos, and Buffalos while Elephants linger along the banks with varieties of Wetland birds.
