Day 1-2

Moremi Game Reserve

Moremi Game Reserve

You will be met at the Maun airport at mid-day and then transfer to Moremi via a charter flight (25 minutes). Upon arrival at the airstrip you will be met by your guide and then embark on a game drive en route to the camp. At the camp you will be greeted by the crew with a song. An open bar and refreshments will be served, followed by a three-course dinner. After dinner you will sit around the bonfire with an open bar and coffee station.

Moremi Game Reserve covers more than 4871 square kilometres of pristine wilderness. The varied terrain includes savannah, winding waterways, and dense forest. An incredible spectrum of wildlife calls this place home, including wildebeest, zebra, rare sitatunga and lechwe antelope, lions, cheetahs, and packs of wild dogs. You will visit Moremi, Khwai, and Xakanaxa on game drives and experience a water activity in the Okavango Channel during your time here.

Day 3-4

Khwai Concession

Khwai Concession

After breakfast at the campsite, the team will pack up the camp and transfer you to Khwai Concession for two nights. We will go on a longer game drive today (depending on the camp’s location) and eat a packed lunch. We will arrive at the camp just before sun down and enjoy snacks, beverages, and a three-course dinner under the stars. After dinner we will sit around the bonfire as we wind up the day (an open bar and coffee station will be available).

The Khwai Concession is a private game reserve comprised of lagoons, channels, and grassland. It sits adjacent to the stunning Moremi Game Reserve and on the edge of the world-famous Okavango Delta. Because it is a private game reserve, Khwai Concession provides a more intimate wildlife experience.

Day 5-6

Savuti

After breakfast at the campsite, the team will pack up the camp and transfer you to Savuti for two nights. We will go on a longer game drive today (depending on the camp’s location) and eat a packed lunch. We will arrive at the camp just before sun down and enjoy snacks, beverages, and a three-course dinner under the stars. After dinner we will sit around the bonfire as we wind up the day (an open bar and coffee station will be available).

Savuti is a typical grassland surrounded by Acacia bushes and stony outcrops. It is famous for its lone elephant bulls, lions, hyenas, and the zebra and wildebeest migrations. Other game one can hope to see include: giraffe, tsessebe, warthog, black-backed jackal, leopard, cheetah, bat-eared fox, impala, wild dog, and kudu.

Day 7-8

Chobe National Park, which is so named due to its location along the Chobe River, has thehighest number of elephants in the area. It features sandy terrain with dense forests of mopane trees and endless broadleaf woodlands.

Day 9

Kasane River Front

Kasane River Front

After breakfast you will be picked up at the camp and driven to Kasane via the Ngoma gate (you will also enjoy a game drive en route). Upon arrival at Kasane in the early afternoon (1:00pm), you will eat lunch at the Chobe Safari or Chobe Bush Lodge. You will then spend the afternoon at your leisure before going on a sundowner boat tour. You cannot leave this safari experience without going on a sunset ride along the Chobe River (which can only be done in Kasene)! You will return to the camp for dinner at your overnight stay at 6:30pm.
