Johannesburg to Kruger National Park
Guests are collected from a designated airport. The route from Johannesburg to the Greater Kruger National Park in the Mpumalanga Province is about 6 hours long, and takes you from the wide-open spaces of the Highveld, down the escarpment and through the scenic Lowveld region. Stop for snacks and refreshments along the way.
Arrive at Tydon Safari Camp mid-day. Freshen up and relax before it’s time to depart on a late-afternoon game drive in the legendary Sabi Sands. Enjoy sundowners at a special vantage point and a night drive back to your safari camp.

Wake up early (5h30-6h00) for hot beverages and rusks before departing for a 3-hour sunrise game drive in the Kruger National Park. Return to camp for brunch and spend the rest of the day relaxing until it’s time to return to Kruger Park for a 3-hour sunset game.

Another glorious day in the Greater Kruger but on your third morning with us you explore Sabi Sands on foot, with an exciting bush walk with an armed professional guide. The afternoon game drive on Day 3 and the two game drives on Day 4 are in the Sabi Sands on an open safari vehicle. Sabi Sands is known as the “Leopard Capital of South Africa” so expect to see unbelievable leopard sightings.

We return to the Kruger National Park for your last full day, with an early morning and late afternoon game drive. The eco-regions of the Kruger Park are diverse and outstanding, and you will have a good sense of the scope of the beauty and wonder of South Africa’s favourite national park.

Kruger National Park to Johannesburg
After a leisurely breakfast, we depart for the return trip to Johannesburg. Guests will be taken to Skukuza or Nelspruit airport if required. The journey back to Johannesburg takes you via the historic towns of Graskop and Sabie on the famous Panorama Route.
Arrive back in Johannesburg late afternoon; drop off at OR Tambo International.
