Day 1

Early in the morning, the driver-guide will pick you up from Entebbe Airport where you will be briefed about the trip. After proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Masaka/Mbarara, you will have your first stopover at the equator for refreshments and photography. From proceeding there, you will have a great view of the banana plantations. You arrive in Mbarara town for lunch. You then continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the evening at the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2

Gorilla tracking experience

Gorilla tracking experience

Have an early breakfast and then go to the tracking briefing point where you will be welcomed by UWA rangers. Thereafter, move to the jungle and enjoy the most memorable and rewarding experience of viewing wild residents in their natural habitat. Return back to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Nature walk and community visits

Nature walk and community visits

Have an early morning breakfast and then take a nature walk to the falls. Enjoy the great view of the falls and expect to see wild residents like monkeys and wild gorillas among others. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, go on a nature walk to the communities around the park. You can expect to see different plantations like coffee and tea plantations and learn about the Batwa people's culture and their way of living. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have an early breakfast, check out of the lodge and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha. Enjoy the great views of savannah grasslands. You will arrive at the lodge in the afternoon for relaxation as you prepare for the next day’s activities.

Day 5

Boat cruise and game drive

Boat cruise and game drive

You will start your day with an early breakfast, and then set off for a game drive with your cameras on standby. This activity takes 3-5 hours and you can expect to see wild residents like lions, elephants, buffalos and antelopes among others. Return to the lodge in the afternoon for lunch.

After lunch, go for an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. You can expect to see aquatic animals like crocodiles and hippos, and other animals like elephants and buffalos along the lakeshore, as well as lots of waterbirds like the African fish eagle and giant kingfisher among others. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
