Day 1

Arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, one of our experienced driver guides will welcome you, ready to escort you to your hotel in Arusha. He will tell you some of the unique facts about Arusha town and Tanzania. You will also get a short brief about your safari. You will be transferred from the Airport and dropped off at the hotel.

Day 2

Arusha Town - Tarangire National park

Arusha Town - Tarangire National park

Early in the morning, you will drive from Arusha town to Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire National Park has the highest population density of elephants than any park in the northern circuit. It is home to over 550 varieties of birds including the heaviest flying bird, the kori bustard.

Tarangire National Park is very famous for its dense wildlife population during the dry season with animals such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and numbers of grazers. Tree climbing pythons can also be spotted here. The scattered vegetation covered with baobab and acacia trees makes it a beautiful and distinctive attraction to visit.

In the afternoon, you will have a picnic lunch then continue with a game drive. Later, drive to Karatu town for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3

Karatu - Ngorongoro Crater

Karatu - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive at the crater rim.

Ngorongoro Crater is referred to as “Africa’s Eden" and a must visit place. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world standing at 2286m above the sea level. It is home to about 30000 animals almost half of them being wildebeests and zebras. The crater is also one of the few places in East Africa where visitors can be certain of seeing the black rhino.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area was established as a multiple land use area, designated to promote the conservation of natural resources, safeguard the interests of indigenous residents and promote tourism. This is a unique protected area in the whole of Africa where conservation of natural resources is integrated with human activities.

You will have a picnic lunch then continue with a game drive. Later, return to Karatu town for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4

Lake Manyara National Park - Airport

Lake Manyara National Park - Airport

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive.

Lake Manyara National park is located at Manyara region on the edge of the Great Rift Valley. It is one of the famous parks in the northern zone with many unique attractions that include Lake Manyara and Maji Moto (hot natural springs surrounded by palm and fig trees). There is also a high diversity of species of birds, both local and migratory species. Not to forget the tree-climbing lions (lucky photographers will get the chance to spot and photograph these beautiful creatures perched on the branches of acacia trees). The park has a high population of hippopotamus and large herds of elephants and buffalos. Also, the Rift Valley Escarpment adds to the unique scenic beauty of the park.

After the game drive, you will have a picnic lunch then drive to your hotel at Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport to catch your flight home.
