Day 1

Upon arrival, you will be picked from the airport by our driver guide and transfer you to Kampala to your booked hotel accommodation, with a stunning view of the city, later check in to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Overnight at Fairway Hotel (mid-range hotel), this hotel is nested in the hearts of Kampala town, under one of the foothills, in a quiet environment with great ambiance of the city. The lodge has a swimming pool facility as well.

Day 2

Transfer to Kibale National Park

Transfer to Kibale National Park

In the morning, you will set off a relaxed drive through the verdant countryside to Kibale Forest NP with en route stops for sightseeing including the distant views of number of tea plantations along the way. You will reach Kibale Forest NP in the afternoon, and check in for lunch in your booked accommodation. You will spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and Overnight at chimpanzee forest guest house (mid-range lodge), a beautiful eco – friendly lodge, with a tree house kind of setting, hidden widen the forest ridge. The lodge as well have a swimming pool, you can cool off after the day’s adventure.

Day 3

Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi Nature walk

In the morning, you will set off to the park headquarters for briefing before going for Chimpanzee tracking, where you may encounter other primates like Vervet Monkeys, Blue Hoest Monkeys, Black and white colobus Monkeys among others. The park is known as home of primate with 13 primate’s species including the famous chimpanzees. The trek takes roughly 2 – 4 hours, depending on the chimpanzee movement. One hour will be allocated to you, to have a wonderful interaction with the chimpanzees, as you take pictures and short videos, as your local guide explains to your all the biological back ground of the chimpanzee as you interact. You will later return from trek and head for lunch, in the afternoon; go for a nature walk to the Bigodi wetland sanctuary for primate and bird viewing, the walk can take roughly 2 hours, to explore the hidden treasure of this swamp, with great chance to see a number of bird species and monkeys. Later drive to your lodge.

Day 4

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have a relaxed morning breakfast, and drive to drive to Queen Elizabeth with the beautiful view of the crater lakes, you will do a brief crater lakes tour around and later drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, with a stopover at Equator for photography. Dinner and Overnight at Park View Safari Lodge (Mid-range lodge), the lodge has won many a wards in the country for good year, as the most eco – friendly lodge, with number of flower gardens, and green compound, that has made it look so beautiful and attractive.

Day 5

Game drive & boat cruise at Queen Elizabeth National Park

Game drive & boat cruise at Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early morning breakfast at 6:00 am, you will head in search for the morning hunters and grazers such as the buffalos, elephants, waterbucks, bushbucks, Uganda kobs, lions and variety of bird species that you will encounter on your game ride and later head for lunch.
After lunch you will proceed for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel to view the water dwelling birds and animals such as the pied king fisher, African fish eagle, herons, darters to mention but a few and see animals such as buffalos, crocodiles, monitor lizards, elephants wallowing at the mad and much more. After boat cruise, you will proceed for a short game drive as you find you way back to lodge for dinner and overnight at Park View Safari Lodge.

Day 6

Transfer to Bwindi

Transfer to Bwindi

After having a morning breakfast, you will check out of your lodge, drive to Ishasha sector of Queen in search for the tree climbing lions in a short game drive and later drive to Bwindi with a panoramic view along the way, with an en route lunch. Overnight and dinner at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge (Mid – range lodge), a beautiful lodge, with cottages facing the beautiful Bwindi jungle that gives you a relaxing moment at your balcony, and the lodge is a walkable distance to the park gate, which makes your access to the next day gorilla trekking quite easy, as you have a relaxed breakfast, and reach the park for briefing in 5 minutes time.

Day 7

Gorilla Trekking Experience

Early morning, with packed lunch, you will go to the park headquarters for briefing before embarking on the gorilla tracking adventure. The gorilla trekking is always referred to as a life time moment, as it leaves with a great experience of meeting the gorillas face to face in the jungle. You will be given an hour upon finding the gorillas to take a great moment with them as you watching the juveniles swing from one tree branch to another. You will return for lunch at the lodge, for lunch. In the afternoon, you will spend the evening at your leisure.

Day 8

Finally, we hit our last, day of the trip, which starts with breakfast at the lodge, before we jump on our jeeps to start our long drive to Kampala, with an en route lunch along the way. This will be a beautiful drive, with great view of the country side, banana plantations, and herds of long horned cows can be seen at a distance. You will have an en route stopover at the equator, for some photography later proceed with the drive to Entebbe, for your airport drop of, hugs and greetings, full of the great tour will be exchanged, as we say bye bye to Pearl of Africa, till we meet again. Greetings way back home, as we look forward to receive your review and recommendations to family and friends.
