Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

Depart in the morning with a picnic lunch box heading towards Tarangire National Park for game drives. The Tarangire National Park was established to help preserve big cats such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions. Game drives are centred around the Tarangire River circuit, where there is a higher chance of seeing the big predators hunting as the herbivores come for drinks and graze along the river channel. Stop for a picnic lunch at a bluff overlooking the winding Tarangire River. Afterwards, proceed with game drives to different areas of Tarangire where you will be able to see wildebeest, gazelles, antelopes, ostriches, giraffes, buffaloes and many more mammals and birds. The Tarangire is referred to be the home of the African elephant. Late in the afternoon, you will drive for dinner and your overnight stay at the campsite.
