Day 2

Drive To Mkomazi National Park

Drive To Mkomazi National Park

Enjoy the breakfast at your lodge then start your safari to Mkomazi national park a spectacular wilderness, and a home to a sanctuary rhinos and wild dog. Mkomazi is the southern tip of the Sahel zone. It is a classic dry-country reserve of grey-green nyika bush, ancient baobab trees and isolated rocky hills. The seas of bush give way to open Savannah woodlands of umbrella acacias and mbugas – shallow valleys of grassland.
Enjoy the full time in this park, later you will go for evening leisure, dinner and overnight to your camp.

Explore the park full of Endangered species "charismatic black rhino and sociable African wild dog"

This day is dedicated for the full game drive in Mkomazi Park. Animals like giraffe, oryx, gerenuk, heartbeat, lesser kudu, eland, impala and Grant’s gazelle share the reserve with elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and cheetah can be spotted here. The birds of Mkomazi are even more numerous, with over 400 species recorded here includes Doves, hornbills, weavers and guinea-fowl are all present in large numbers – as well as such striking species as the martial eagle and violet wood-hoop.
After a full day great tour you will go for evening leisure, dinner and overnight at the camp.

After morning breakfast you will start your drive heading to Ngorongoro conservancy. Reaching there you will descend to the Crater, the world’s largest volcano caldera formed three million years ago and is considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world and one of Africa's most remarkable geological sites. Ngorongoro crater, one of the most beautiful havens for wildlife in the world. The crater has unique ecosystem that inhabit more than 25,000 resident animals. The best place to see leopard, lion, cheetah, buffalo and elephant, black rhino, zebra, hippo, wildebeest and hyena.
Later you will ascend from the crater and go for dinner and overnight in your lodge.

The best time to learn local culture - visiting Maasai Bomas

Enjoy the morning breakfast then head to Mto WA mbu for Masai culture experiences. You will participate in different activities including making your own barbeque in traditional way from start to finish with the elders and Maasai morans or warriors. Women will learn about traditional bead-work with the revered women of the tribe while children will have a chance to learn from children in the village about how to shoot arrow or just playing. Enjoy the local food and later you drive back to Arusha and be transferred to the airport for your home departure.
