Nairobi - Masai Mara game reserve
When you arrive at Nairobi Airport, you will be met by a representative from our company and briefed before departing for the Maasai Mara.
You will have the opportunity to see The Great Rift Valley, which is located at an elevation of 8,000 feet above sea level. The journey will continue on a well-tarmacked road through the Masai Mara sekenani gate, which serves as the game reserve's entry point.
As soon as we have completed the park entry ticket formalities, the roof of your 4 x 4 jeep will be opened for a brief game viewing en route to the lodge.
Hot lunch will be served at Mara Serena Lodge, followed by relaxation within the lodge while you wait for the sun to cool for an evening game viewing.
There will be an evening game viewing around 1600hrs, which is the best time to see the predators as they crawl out of their shadows to go for evening hunting.
The evening will come to a close at the Mara Serena Lodge at 19:00 hrs. Which is located within the park near the main Mara River.

Masai Mara game reserve
Early breakfast, followed by early morning game viewing in search of The Big cat's family and other herbivores that are found within the Maasai Mara eco-system.
This park covers 1510km² of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodlands, following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers in southwest Kenya.
One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical open savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffalos, zebras, and hippos are also found in great numbers.
It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but reasonably common.
By mid-day, we all get to the lodge for hot lunch and relaxation as we wait for an evening game viewing, however, a full day game viewing is also possible with packed lunch boxes.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro crater
After breakfast, we get right on the road to the Ngorongoro Crater National Park for an afternoon game viewing and evening game viewing.
On a good day, we will be able to spot the animals that eluded us on the two nights in Serengeti. As far as the eye can see, you’ll spot thousands upon thousands of animals in herds; wildebeests and zebras migrating together, tall and graceful giraffes, jumping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful African elephant, and the most respected group of animals the predators that feed on the herbivores.
Along the way, we'll pass through the mist-shrouded rainforests of the Ngorongoro where you might be lucky enough to glimpse cape buffalo, elephants, and leopards in the dense undergrowth.
The drive is taking us through the Cradle of Mankind, the Oldupai Gorge Museum that commemorates some of the oldest evidence of human habitation ever found. Here we learn more about the human journey from the stone age period to the current upright standing human being.
