Day 1

We will have an early morning breakfast after which we will drive to Kibale Forest National Park.
On arrival, we'll have lunch then do a community walk in the Bigodi village and enjoy a Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary walk in the afternoon. During this walk, it is possible to see monkeys and birds.

Day 2

Chimp Trekking

Chimpanzee tracking in the morning.
Kibale Forest is a spectacular jungle, with 13 primate species! You'll see primates including chimps, baboons, black and white Colobus, red Colobus, grey-cheeked mangabey and I'Hoest monkeys.
In the afternoon, we'll do a community tour, with a visit to the banana gin maker, medicine man and a local school.

Day 3

After breakfast, we'll do the Bigodi Swamp walk and depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park after lunch. On our way, we'll pass the equator where we will make a stop. We will pass through interesting villages learning about the plight of the people and the crater lakes.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the best places in Uganda to see lions. Expect to also see elephants, lions, many hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and maybe leopards.
You'll have a game drive after checking in at the Lodge.

Today we will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On our way, we'll pass through interesting villages and have some breathtaking views of the mountains. Bwindi Impenetrable is a unique jungle, with many monkey species. Bwindi is one of the two places in the world where you can find mountain gorillas!

Day 5

Early in the morning, depart with your ranger to search for one of the world's most interesting and endangered animal, the mountain gorilla! You will spend one hour with one of our closest relatives. An experience you will never forget.

When trekking the gorillas and chimpanzees, we recommended wearing sturdy clothing to help protect against scratches, i.e. long sleeve shirt, trousers and a good pair of lightweight walking boots. Protective leather gloves or gardening gloves are also useful, as well as a pair of gaiters.

After breakfast, we'll depart for Lake Mburo National Park. We'll have lunch on the way near Mbarara town.
We'll later have a game drive in Lake Mburo National Park and enjoy a sundowner at the lake.
