Day 1

Depart Arusha after an early breakfast for your full day hike inside Kilimanjaro National Park. Start your hike at 9 AM and meander through the rain forest. Spend several hours in the rain forest until you get to Machame Camp. View wildlife and birdlife as you trek through the forest. Enjoy lunch here, with possibly the most magnificent views of Kilimanjaro's peak. Make your way back down the mountain and meet your vehicle. Return to Arusha after the hike. You should bring rain gear and good hiking shoes. Your guide will explain the wildlife and vegetation you encounter as you hike through the forest.
