Sesriem is also known for Sesriem Canyon, which is about 4 kilometers from Sesriem itself and is the second-most important tourist attraction after Sossusvlei. It is a natural canyon carved by the Tsauchab River in the local sedimentary rock, about a kilometer (0.6 miles) long and up to 30 meters (100 feet) deep.
Dune 45 is a star dune in the Sossusvlei area of the Namib Desert in Namibia. Its name comes from the fact that it is at the 45th kilometre of the road connecting the Sesriem gate and Sossusvlei. Standing over 170 meters, it is composed of 5-million-year-old sand that was detritus accumulated by the Orange River from the Kalahari Desert and then blown here.

Himba cultural tour and game drives at Etosha Park, Okukuejo
We drive from Twyfelfontein via Himba village at Kamajap to experience the Himba culture and learn how they live in their habitat.
At the end of the 19th century, Namibia was plagued by a relentless bovine epidemic. Most of the cattle that the Herero depended on perished, and the community faced a great crisis. Subsequently, they moved south and started to explore different regions to enhance their chances of survival. Still, some members decided to stay and struggle for survival in familiar territories.
It will be a stopover for one hour, and then our trip will continue until we arrive at Etosha National Park. The activities that await guests at Okaukuejo are game drives and game walks or just sitting by the waterhole and watching wildlife come to drink water. This water is very active during the day as many animals frequent it. On a good day, there are chances of witnessing a kill at the waterhole, which is a great opportunity for photos.
All meals will be served at the lodge.
