Welcome to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia's capital city!
Upon disembarking off the international flight, you will be transported across to the hotel by our professional Guide. Check in to your rooms, settle in and then return to the lobby for a thorough briefing of Ethiopia and the upcoming safari will be given.

There are numerous sights and attractions around this city: home to the African Union and a major base of the United Nations, there is a lot of places you can head out to visit from.
An afternoon explorer could take in sights such as the “Mercato” -the largest open air market in Africa or visit the museums; National or Ethnological and a deeper understanding of Ethiopia with the ancient objects left off from wars, traditional places of worship and wildlife.

City tour and afternoon visit to craft shops

After a relaxing night head to the restaurant for breakfast, your guide will meet you along with the local guide/Interpreter and embark on a morning city tour of Ethiopia's capital city: to sites that were not visited yesterday because of time.

Later in the afternoon proceed on a visit to garment shops to check out the beautiful prints of fabric that are unique to this country, move on to craft shops for artisans hand made by the locals. Engage in bargaining and take time to select souvenirs to carry back home for yourself or to your loved ones.

Embark on the drive back to your host property and catch the sunset enroute. Spend your evening at leisure.

Early rise and after a refreshing breakfast, check out of the hotel.
Your guide will assist transfer the luggage to the minivan and drive to the airport for your onward flight out of Addis Ababa en route Lalibela.

Lalibela is located in the Amhara region of Northern Ethiopia and is famously known as the antique home to the subterranean monoliths. Besides being a fascinating historical attraction, these are also considered to be Ethiopia’s most pilgrimage sites for coptic Christians.

A morning flight is usually recommended; preferably one that departs at 08:10 AM and arrives at 09:10AM.

Arriving early will give you an opportunity to wander this medieval town and explore the world-famous rock-hewn churches here. There are three clusters of churches carved out of rock: the huge Bete Medhane Alem, and cross-shaped Bete Giyorgis joined by trenches which date back from the 12th and 13th centuries!
The afternoon will be spent visiting each one of them.

After your breakfast at leisure, begin your visit to the Yemrehana Krestos monastery, an old Orthodox church built out of stone and wood within a large cavern.
Learn more about its history that goes back as far as the 11th century in the architectural tradition of the ancient Kingdom of Aksum.

Take a break off for lunch at the well-known Ben Abebe restaurant. Aside from the assorted menu that caters to both the international visitor and one seeking to try out local Ethiopian dishes, this restaurant is established a raised plane in a strategic location offering magnificent views across the valleys. Treat yourself to a beverage of your choice, dine and enjoy nature!

Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure: test the remarkable Ethiopian coffee and mingle with the locals. Later shop around for souvenirs to take back home in the local craft markets, finishing in time to catch the beautiful sunset.

After a hearty breakfast, take time to pack your bags and check out to transfer by road to Lalibela Airport for a connecting flight to Addis Ababa. Arrive in time to catch your onward flight to Arusha.

Please ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months past your arrival date and with at least 2 blank pages. The tourist visa fee is payable in cash at the airport visa control.

Early rise and check out, head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to enjoy a half day game drive. Ngorongoro Crater is a caldera from the sunken cone of a volcano. Being the largest inactive and unbroken caldera in the world makes it a UNESCO world heritage site.

Take a walk around the crater rim, stop and look down the crater floor using a pair of binoculars to see all the features that make this Crater the microcosm of the Serengeti: open grassland, streams, swamps, lakes, forests, hills and steep slopes.
You are likely to spot buffalo, elephant near the swamps and sometimes rhino on the plains, eland, zebra, wildebeest, waterbuck, warthog, Gazelles, baboons and vervet monkeys, lion, cheetah, hyena and leopard.

Have your picnic lunch at Ngoitokitok Springs -in the crater, stretch, listen to the grunts of the hippos and admire the profusion of birdlife. This is the only spot in Africa where one can see all three species of jackals!

After a breakfast of your choice, meet with the Maasai who are indigenous to this land and learn about their impressive lifestyle and challenges of herding: protecting their cattle from wildlife predators like Lions.

Proceed to the Serengeti National Park. The goal for today is to explore the South East Serengeti searching for the big cats and small delights of the bush. And since many of these predators are resident to Seronera, excellent encounters are available year round for all large predators: lion, hyena, leopard and cheetah during the course of day along with a multitude of smaller ones; mongoose, jackal, serval and bat-eared fox.
Due to its unique ecological niche as a transitional zone between the Serengeti plains and the Serengeti woodlands, the Seronera River valley is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife like elephant, giraffe, impala, waterbuck, hippo, topi, reedbuck, baboon.

After a hearty breakfast, proceed with a game drive to the Central part of the park.

Central Serengeti is a transitional zone, where the Serengeti plains end and the woodlands begin, giving rise to a multitude of species that co-exist from both habitats. Because the rivers that run through the Seronera Valley are perennial, most of the animals here are full-time residents, making it one of the best areas for game viewing year-round.
The main attraction in this part of Serengeti is undoubtedly the beautiful Seronera River Valley. The combination of location and resident prey attracts the largest and most diverse population of predators in Africa.

Central Serengeti is home to over twelve lion prides that live within a one hour game drive radius of the Seronera River Valley and also home to a significant leopard population making it your best chance of seeing many leopards as well as some action of predators hunting on a safari.

After breakfast, head northwards to the Mara River -the stage for the dramatic river crossing of the Great Migration.
Every year the migrant wildebeest come up north as early as beginning of June until October, lured by green grasses and permanent water sources. In this time of year if luck is on your side you will have a chance of experiencing the Great migration or any other time of the year the exclusivity of African wilderness is yours to explore as you observe the delights of the bush with lesser crowds and vehicles. There's a collective sigh of relief from the resident game when the one and a half million migrating wildebeest leave for a few months.

This northern Serengeti area of lush, rolling grassland and tree-lined watercourses. Resident game in the form of zebra, topi, gazelles, impala, buffalo and giraffe are present throughout the year. Lion prides are rarely far away and leopard, ever present, but always elusive, stalk the rocky kopjes and river lines.

After your breakfast at leisure, take time to pack your bags and check out of the camp as this will be your last day in Serengeti for now.

Depending on your flight-time out of Serengeti National Park, meet your naturalist driver guide for a short game drive en-route as you are transferred to Kogatende airstrip to board the aircraft flying you back to Arusha.

Flight details will be communicated to you prior to traveling along with the acceptable luggage onboard the Aircraft.

Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your host property. Un pack and settle in as the island will be your home for the next four nights!

Wake up at leisure to a leisurely breakfast, proceed to meet your lead guide for a guided tour of Stone Town.

No town gets as colourful as Stone town: the clear blue colour of the skies, the beautiful fabrics of the local garment shops, the architecture from the buildings complimented by the crystal-clear waters of the ocean.

Spend the day touring around guided by a local guide, make site stops at the Spice farm and the ruins. The duration of both excursions is approximately four hours. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. Later proceed with your drive to the hotel for your dinner.

After breakfast, you will be joined by your tour leader for a road transfer to the waters where a dhow will be waiting to take you on a safari blue cruise.

All aboard! Take a step back in time on board this well-furnished Arabic themed dhow boat for a ride to the sand banks. Enjoy swimming & guided snorkeling in the beautiful clear waters –quality equipment provided with chances of watching dolphins at play. Enroute drinks and canapés will be served on board the dhow as you sail away, lay back and enjoy the breeze. Make a stop by Kwale Island for a Swahili lunch feast.

Upon return from a fun-filled day out-doors, you will disembark the dhow and proceed with your drive to your resort arriving in time for dinner and overnight.

Wake up to the tranquility of the waters, treat yourself to your ideal breakfast beverage before embarking on the Catamaran cruise to Mnemba Island. This is a full day trip starting at 0800am until 1500hrs.

Cruise on yacht Walkabout from Nungwi out to Mnemba Island, with freshly made fruit smoothies served onboard along with a fruit platter, breakfast cereals and tea, coffee and lunch. Trolling for big game fish along the way or sailing should the wind be good, we will anchor off Tumbatu Island where you can snorkel in warm shallow water and experience the reef which surrounds the island.

After snorkeling we offer hot or cold fresh water showers on the back of the yacht, followed by some drinks and snacks en route back to Nungwi. Should you in interested in diving for the experienced or want to try it out, please ask the crew on board.
